View Full Version : The Recruitment of "Pharoah": A Testament that Ateneo is really copying De La Salle.

This "surprise package" from the North is the talk of the town from every Blue Eagle fan. But don't be lulled into believing that this is an original form of recruitment. Raneses has already completed a degree in another school, and will only play in Ateneo for two years, as a masteral student.

Sounds familiar?

Yet another testament that Ateneo was outmaneuvered in the recruitment ranks last year, when it failed to snag prized rookie Jerwin Gaco. Now it tries to do a similar thing by signing up a veteran like Raneses.

Winning at all costs. Winning without originality.

Personally, I think it's sad.

Season's Greetings.

Peace.

At least you have admitted that DLSU uses the "winning at all cost" strategy.

Akala ko from the south si Raneses? At saka baka mas matalino siya kaysa Gaco hehe. At ang admission standards ng graduate school iba sa college which are tougher and more competitive.

Is it Neil Raneses from the University of the Visayas? If yes, he is fromthe south. The guy made waves in the 2002 Champion's league, piloting UV to the final 4. He is a southpaw. From the grapevine, UP and Adamson are also after him.

Heard he's in Ateneo's "bag" already.
