this call center started last year around feb. or so
they are still looking for companies to outsource...

the people, as usual there are the competent and some incompetent...

btw...*** i can say about it? maganda ang training, yung sups & team leaders na humawak sa akin, maalaga dahil dyan kahit papano nakakakuha ng quota...the problem is....project based mostly ang mga campaign...but there's a good news for it...may inbound na rin pala sila, so i guess mejo established na...

may alternative naman kung takot ka sa mamahaling pagkain sa ortigas...dun sa "le souffle gilid" or yung jolijeep sa likod ng el pueblo

wala na yata yung look-alike ni ding-dong dyan eh...naabutan ko yun eh

inbound ang inaplayan ko. sabi nung interviewer I will most probably be assigned to a local telecom client.... sana... para puro pinoy na lang kausap ko, mas madali naman yun kesa foreigners di ba? :)

sana ok na, wag lang magka conflict sa sked. kung papayag sila na permanent graveyard shift ako, ok na. may class kasi ako pag late afternoon and evenings, so graveyard lang talaga kaya ko.

observer, im training ryt now sa vertex, cant say d account though, most probably dun k nga sa local telecomm account.maganda naman *** training at magagaling *** mga trainors, unlike sa ibang pinagtrainingan ko.mukhang ok *** working environment. regarding dun sa graveyard, sabi samin ng agency, they are giving considerations dun sa mga nagaaral kaya napagbibigyan sa sked. Good luck sayo, hope well see each other sa vertex if ever ull be considered. :)

*** mirof agency din na naghahandle ng mga applicants for vertex. i applied b4.. didn't get in though.. pro oki lang.. kasalanan ko rin naman.. i was late for the interview!!! sowss... actually.. it was a group interview.. heheh.. and that was 9 mos. ago.. pro keri lang at least a much bigger.. no...one of the biggest companies hired me now.. #1 call center pa.. hehehe..at least it's gonna be stable.. =)

under ako ng p4p. nagpunta ako dyan for interview last week, iyon nga lang daw nag start na daw ang training ng tech support nila.. so wait na lang daw ako ng call for my final interview kasi ang next batch mag start daw on third week of January or first week ng feb.

tinycutie... thanks! right now, ang may hawak sa aming mga trainees is sir clint, pero by wednesday, ididistribute na daw kami sa mga teams. :) so far ok naman, account namin is inbound, local telecom ang client. may days na sobrang daming calls, lalo na pag monday, friday at saturday. sunud-sunod talaga, susuko ang mga csr, pero sanayan lang din siguro. :)

sa mga gusto mag-apply, try nyo rin. hiring pa, may batch pa kasi na susunod after namin. may mga natanggal kasi sa batch namin, mga hindi nkpasa, kaya napilitan sila maghire pa ng isang batch. pero ok naman ang training, at mababait ang mga trainors. :)

I agree medyo problem nga ang food..of course you couldn't afford to have lunch/dinner everyday at el pueblo..unless executive ka or may budget ka dun...pero just the same it's not practical...maraming mini-stop sa ortigas..yun nga lang wala kang mapagpilian for lunch kasi chicken mostly ang nandun. Sa Taipan meron silang canteen..3rd floor..medyo affordable naman ang prices ng ulam..the prices are the same with weekdays.

I worked here early this year. Based on my experience, madali lang final interview nila. just be patient kasi yung "final" interview nila is actually a series of interviews. So, prepare to undergo around 2-3 interviews. Good luck! :)

Is it true na may cut yung agency? Parang ang sama naman na may cut pa sila sa pinaghirapan mo. Come to think of it, finding a job in the call center industry is not that hard (if you're qualified) kaya there is no need to go in an agency.
BTW, na final interview na ako dyan, he said pasado ako, kaya naghihintay ako sa call ng agency. Pag may kaltas sila, I probably won't accept the offer. Matter of principle na lang.

Dacs... walang cut yung agency sa salary mo. may separate arrangement ang agency at company sa payment nila. you'll get your salary whole (with regular deductions of course). ok naman diyan sa vertex, medyo mababa lang talaga ang salary compared sa ibang call centers. good luck!

HOW THE HELL YOU CAN GIVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO THE CUSTOMER IF THE IT DEPARTMENT RESTRICTS YOU TO DO SO !!!!!

at hindi namin malalaman na may hiring pala for supervisor kundi namin nabasa yung bulletin ad (which sadly sinabi sa amin ng mga supervisor namin na hindi kami qualified (??? eh kami output namin 100 emails a day, resolve rate 80%) at external hired na naman yung supervisors)

he he he... seems like vertex (alorica) is still groping their way around... can't blame you kasi if it were me i'd feel the same in fact when I was in ACS ganun din feeling ko pero we were able to resolve naman yung ibang issues namin kasi nakakausap namin AM...

dapat siguro you open the issues to your boss or kung hindi ka komportable sa kanya, sa ibang boss or sa boss ng boss mo... suggestion lang naman..
