I'm here in the US, and I heard that there are parent-teacher conferences in the Philippines in college. Is that true? Are there also parent-teacher conferences in post graduate schools like law school or med school?

yes, in court. i know a lot of math and physics teachers at UP-diliman who got sued by irate parents. reason: their precious child flunked his/her subject. the poor, moneyless teacher often has no recourse but go to the OLA in the college of law. they give free legal counsel. fortunately, the teacher usually wins.

pwede... but then again madalas na students sa post-baccalaureate courses yung parents na mismo. sa civil law or med, possible; pero sa graduate school where some students are older than the professors, ewan ko lang... :)
minsan nga yung anak pa naghahatid-sundo ng magulang sa gradschool eh. :) then you will call your classmates sir, ma'am; tapos pag mas intimate, tito or tita. :)
