The Frat War in FEU is back

FEU students are probably familiar with the pillbox incident last last week [a pillbox exploded in FEU Plaza, otherwise known as Freedom Park, which seriously injured two]. What they didn't know was there was another explosion inside the Science Building last Friday; a bystander has suffered multiple injuries.

Last Monday, just as we were walking along Nicanor Reyes St (Morayta) we heard another explosion, this time coming from Lerma. We went there and one of my schoolmates saw an unconscious kid drenched in blood being carried onto a Baranggay roving van.

Any ideas, Tamaraws? I heard the Theta Kappa Rho fraternity is the target of these pillbox attempts.

i heard that also...nakakahiya nga...im not from FEU tlaga...wish klang yung mismong naglalagay nito ang masaktan at hindi yung mga students na wlang kinalaman dun..

this is hard to believe. FEU has what is probably the most efficient (and feared) university security force in metro manila. i dare say none of those that happen in schools like UP, ADU and even DLSU can happen at FEU.

Speaking of frats nagkaroon ng incidente sa UP Baguio just before finals.

It's got a lot of people talking because basically all the frats united (yes, united!) against one frat - yung Tau Omega Mu daw.

What the the frats wanted was to set sanctions against Tau omega mu dahil masyado daw mayayabang. I heard they even forced the tau to run naked in the streets of Baguio. Halos umabot daw sa mga pillbox incidents the next day kung hindi napansin ng school admin na may nangyayari.

its an old grudge i think,kasi yung mga frat na nakatambay sa pavillion at sa covered walk ay magkakaalyansa tapos yung malapit dun sa entrance ng AB near the IAS secretariat kalaban nila yun,I recall one member of an org na nakainuman ko dati nung 1996 sa loob ng Alvies(infront of RK cuisine)kabrad sya ng boardmate ko inalok pa ako ng beer dati tapos 3 days after nabalitaan ko na nabaril sya sa Lepanto near corner recto, isa syang Engineerinh grad ng FEU nung 1994? or 95? last batch yata sila ng Engineering around the late 90's.And another story yung org member nila nanagdodrop dati kapag may frat war para iwas gulo,that was what they told me nung naka-away nla yung mga barkada ko,but the trouble was setlled ,nangyari yung away nung 1998 sa tapat din ng RK cuisine, lumilipad yung mga upuan sa kalye buti kamo walang tinamaan na kotse.

please forgive the insecure. kayo man ang malagay sa lugar nya, in a school where no on gets rejected, you will also be as bitter.

actually, UP guys don't claim diliman to be the frat capital, just the frat cradle. most frats in other schools originated from UP. examples of these are the alpha phi omega, tau gamma phi, kappa epsilon and so many course-bound frats.

actually, palikpik, we are from the same school. so please, if i may request such a thing from you, stop stereotyping schools. whilst there are individuals worth bashing; but to bring down the whole school just because of them is quite unfair, especially to those who do show respect to other schools.
