:) Doctors, Nurses, and other medical field profession are required to complete units of CE before they can renew their licenses..Some health personnel think of it as a money making processs by those health departments who are issuing these licenses, in some field yes! like pharmacist cuz a lot of medicine are being introduce..I for one was attending these CE program to bring my license current in status as required by State of California, but there are some who are just using it as business for money making. A total waste of money as I can imagine..In one continuing education that I went this guy was telling us about his European vacation, what a joke it is!"..Should or would it be necessary that the employer or health establisment where an individual worked should pay for their fees and expenses? many employer does pay and they reimburses expenses of personnel with receipts as long as it it related to the field but many of them still don't and one still carry the load of paying.."doc ira!...Do they practice this in the Philippines especially in the medical field?. Here in the U.S.it was a mandatory issue, for everyone no exceptions, each one must complete the required units within a period of one year prior to expiration of one's license , otherwise it will be impossible to renew license without these units of Continuing Education( you can excuse and ask for extention with of course a very valid reasons)..It is a must!!! But what I am saying is to disqualify those who's teaching us things we've learned in school ten years ago! Believe it or not ,some of them do!..in my opinion it is not a continuing education...What do you think doc ira? Is it necessary?

ps. doc ira, will you do me a favor to moved this and change it to a "New Topic!"...I am very sorry..if it takes a hassle in your part just do what is necessary..thanks!! sorry it's my fault!
