The NCAA season is over, at least sa basketball. So far, much has been said of the teams, athletes, fans, etc. But I want to know your thoughts about the NCAA Board itself. Being an outsider (i.e., fr. a non-NCAA school) I'd like to know what you can say about the board as far as its performance is concerned. Has it done a good job so far?

Your opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

you mean, NCAA BORED? Ha-ha!
In all fairness, there were less controversies in NCAA compared to UAAP! It just means, the bored, i mean, the board was pro-active and had foresight in envisioning what might bes and what would bes, thus preventing any scandalous damage to the association. Besides, NCAA bored, i mean -- BOARD, was a bunch of intellectually gifted individuals...and that made them easier to resolve issues in games. Bored nga,eh...wala gaanong action! :yum:

Medyo nag-improve decision-making capabilities nila this season owing to their damage-control in the finals between Letran and Baste. Kaso, sad to say eh hindi nagbago ang pagpapatakbo nila sa liga. Walang cheering competition. :D

I agree with you! Honestly, there are a lot of matters to look into -- not only the damage-control thing (though it is crucial to give attention to this!). A better venue, better publicity, better "pakulo" he-he!;) :p

Not advisable, masyadong mahaba ang season. Ok pa ang Champions League dahil magkakalaban ang mga finalists sa CUSA, SCUAA, NAASCU, UAAP, NCAA, NCRAA, WNCAA, and all the other regional leagues from north to south of the country. :D

i would agree somewhat na wala na masyadong kontrobersya at riots ang ncaa this season unlike last year. but of course, popularity and glamor-wise, di pa sila nakakapantay sa level ng uaap. sorry kung may na-offend. just my observation lang.

anyway, thanks for the outputs you have contributed. keep 'em coming.

Dumaan na sa popularity at glamour nuon ang NCAA. At di na nila kailangan pantayan ang UAAP dahil mas magulo na ngayon sa UAAP kumpara sa NCAA. Sorry din kung may ma-offend. Observation lang po. :D

NCAA has lost it! None of the 4 teams that battled in the bantay bata reached the finals unlike before when an NCAA team always dominated the UAAP champion in the Mcdonalds Cup. As I said before the NCAA board lacks foresight. The main reason why the NCAA has been in the backseat. Imagine 8 competiting school only. I was emphasizing before that the NCAA has to grow to be competitive. It should have been patterned after the US NCAA that included teams from CEBU and the countryside. The NCAA where N stands for National should be dropped because the name does not stand to its definition. Slowly NCAA will lost it all, especially the enthusiasm of its followers to watch the games if it choose to STAGNATE. San Beda is a pioneer member of NC but if the league will bring down the institution with it, I hope SBC leave this forsaken league as soon as possible.
