di ba may ncaa rule that a player cannot enter a commercial league or he will forfeit his right to play in the ncaa? (just like the case of ismael junio of letran)
i think binigyan siya ng permit ng letran dahil nagchampion???

From what I know, he's eligible na talaga to play for the PBL considering naka-3 years na siya naglaro sa NCAA. Him being drafted by Montaņa, if true, is definitely not a privilege given just because he has a Championship title under his name.
Goodluck na lang kay Ronjay. Magma-mature pa lalo ang laro niya now that he's gonna be facing better and older players from this league. He'll be back playing point, right?

Let's see if he can play with the big time players of the UAAP
sana naman wag niya bakawin yung bola at use better shot selections.

Right on that Myst.
Montaņa has drafted a lot of new players pala. I doubt it kung mabibigyan siya kaagad ng maraming playing time. Just the same, I hope another Letranista would make himself a name in the PBL.

Cabatu: Top Pick
Sept. 27, 2003
La Salle's Jun Jun Cabatu, son of former two-time MVP, Sonny, was made the No. 1 pick by ICTSI for the 2003 PBL Platinum Cup during yesterday's Rookie Draft at the Makati Coliseum.
A tough defender and a fearless slasher, the 6-foot-3 Cabatu is expected to conquer the stage once dominated by his 6-foot-5 father during the early 80s. The elder Cabatu was the only two-time MVP of the PABL, forerunner of the PBL.
"He's a good player and he deserved to be the No. 1 pick. Overall, maganda ang resulta ng drafting natin, both in the Rookie and Dispersal," said Commissioner Chino Trinidad.
In a bid to make up for a sorry performance in the last conference where it finished 8th, ICTSI also picked Tyrone Tang and Jose Redemptor Aquino, both of La Salle.
ICTSI also plucked 6-foot-7 Ervin Sotto in the Dispersal Draft, giving the team the height it needed to keep abreast with other teams.
Sotto, who last played for the now-defunct Nutri-Licious, is known for his post-up game and once described as perhaps another Yancy de Ocampo in the making.
Fil-Australian Jason Grigg was Pop Cola's No. 2 pick, and third was UP's Jay-R Reyes (Welcoat), fourth was UP's Kenneth Robin, fifth was 6-foot-4 Nathaniel Cruz of Mapua (Montana), 6th was FEU's Arwind Santos (Viva Mineral Water) and Christopher Intal.
The Paint Masters, who are the defending champions, also boosted their line up by taking NCAA MVP Leo Nacorda in the 2nd round and UE's Nino Canaleta in the 3rd round. They also took Christian Guevarra (4th round), Nino Marquez (5th) and Ricardo Ong (6th).
Rounding up the second round picks were Jerome Paterno (Pop Cola), Artemio Almeda (Blu Star), Robert Sanz (Montana) and Douglas Kramer (Hapee).
NCAA Finals MVP Ronjay Enrile of Letran was taken by Montana in the third round, a move that is expected to give the Jewels the much-needed numbers, what with his daring plays and feathery touch from beyond the arc.
Also taken in the third round were Ronnie Bughao (Pop Cola), Robson Bornancin (Blu Star), Francis Barcellona (Viva) and Marth Anthony Escalona (Hapee).
Montana made the most number of picks both in the Rookie (19) and Dispersal (7) Drafts as teams officials are gearing up for future tournaments.
In all, only 53 out of 215 aspirants were drafted by the teams.
Arjun Cordero, another player displaced following the exit of Nutri-Licious, was grabbed by Pop Cola while Nelbert Omolon, also of Nutri-Licious, was taken by Welcoat. Celino Cruz, who last played for the disbanded John-O, was taken by Blu Star.
