Richard, nagpadala ng cupcakes kay KC

NOONG Miyerkules ay late afternoon ang calltime ni Richard Gutierrez para sa taping ng Codename: Asero.

Tumawag siya sa akin kung pwedeng dumalaw muna siya sa shooting ni KC Concepcion.

Noong araw na iyon ang first shooting day ni KC at hindi muna kasama roon si Richard.

Sa Tagaytay ang alam kong location ni KC that day, pero hindi pala natuloy ‘yon. Sa may Ortigas Center at Aurora Blvd. sila nag- shooting.

Tracking shots ang kinunan sa Ortigas Center at hospital scenes sa Aurora Blvd.
Akala ko ay natuloy ang pagdalaw ni Richard sa shooting ni KC, pero nang makita ko ang dalaga sa birthday party ni Rufa Mae Quinto sa Philosophy Spa sa Makati noong Miyerkules nang gabi, naikuwento niyang hindi na nakapunta ang binata sa kanyang shooting.

“Kasalana ko. Nakatulog kasi ako sa sasakyan nang tatlong beses na nag-text si Richard para sabihing nasa Ortigas Center siya at pupunta sa shooting ko.

“Hindi ko siya nasagot, kaya hindi na siya nakadalaw sa shooting ko.
“He’s so sweet dahil kahit nasa taping na siya, nagawa niyang magpadala ng cupcakes sa shooting,” kuwento ni KC.

Light scenes lang ang kinunan kay KC noong Miyerkules.
Wala siyang ibang artistang nakaeksena.

Next week ang first shooting day together nina Richard at KC.
Sa tsikahan namin ni KC ay nabanggit niyang excited din siya para sa kanilang second movie together ni Richard under GMA Films dahil may mga eksenang kukunan sa Paris, France.

Sey ko kay KC, sasama ako sa Paris kahit sarili ko pang gastos.
“Sige, sige, masaya ‘yan. I’ll show you around,” pangako ni KC sa akin.

RICHARD GUTIERREZ AT ANGEL LOCSIN, MAGSASAMA ULI!


SAYANG at hindi nagkita sina Angel Locsin at Richard Gutierrez kahapon sa presscon ng MET Tathione. Dumating ang young actress nang makaalis na ang huli pero hindi naman talaga magkasabay ang kanilang call time.

Si Richard ang bagong endorser ng MET habang si Angel naman ay kasalukuyan pa lang nililigawan ng kumpanya dahil gusto nilang pagsamahin ang dating magka-love team bilang pinakabagong product endorsers nila.

Hindi na namin inabutan si Richard sa presscon dahil may commitment pa itong dapat puntahan, pero ayon sa mga kasamahan sa hanapbuhay na naka-interview sa young actor ay bawal daw pag-usapan si KC Concepcion at pelikulang gagawin nila sa Star Cinema.

Nilinaw naman ng marketing director ng MET na hindi pumalit si Richard kay Gabby Concepcion na matatandaang nag-back out sa kanila at pumirma sa Lucida-DS na kalabang kumpanya.

Bago pa man daw nila inalok si Gabby ay matagal na silang may standing offer kay Richard, dangan nga lamang at parati raw itong busy kaya hindi natutuloy.

Hindi raw masama ang loob nila kay Gabby sa pagbaback-out sa kanila dahil marami naman daw artista na puwede nilang maging endorser.

Ang message na lang nila kay Gabby, “Sana maging happy siya dahil happy naman kami.”

Young actress KC Concepcion raises hunger-awareness program thru Walk The World With Us, an organization dedicated to feeding millions—59 million to be more specific—of schoolchildren from around the world.

The Walk the World With Us event will be held this Sunday at 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. KC will personally be there to help raise funds for a global school-feeding fund, that will keep 10,000 school children from Mindanao hunger-free. It's a fact that kids learn better with a full stomach.

Here are some of the hunger facts shared by the organization:

1. Every five seconds a child dies because she or he is hungry
2. 10.9 million children fewer than five die in developing countries each year. Malnutrition and hunger-related diseases cause 60 percent of the deaths
3. 524 million of the world's hungry live in South Asia - more than the populations of Australia and USA
4. The number of chronically hungry people worldwide is growing by an average of four million per year ac current trends
5. A hungry child can receive a school meal for only 10US cents per day or 5 pesos

Your five pesos can go a long way in helping someone live. By donating five-peso per day or P2,200 a year helps feed a hungry child.

Now that Heart Evangelista is a certified Kapuso, she’s all set to be Richard Gutierrez’s newest leading lady in GMA Network’s Codename: Asero. Catch up on the latest news about her taken from recent GMA interviews! Text by Jillian Q. Gatcheco. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio and Jason S. Lim.

“Maraming nagsasabi sa akin dati pa na dapat magkatrabaho kami, pero we come from two different worlds, so imposible,” explains Heart, referring to her team-up with Richard. “[That’s why] it’s very exciting na makakatrabaho ko siya. It’s going to be exciting because it’s a totally different project para sa akin—hindi siya telefantasya, at napakaganda ng casting.” The cast began shooting for the series last May 5, 2008.

Even the GMA bosses are overjoyed that Heart is finally part of GMA. “Syempre, natutuwa tayong lahat na si Heart ay Kapuso na, at nagpapasalamat din kami kay Mr. and Mrs. Ongpauco para sa tiwala nila. At syempre naman kay Heart [din] sa tiwala niya sa GMA,” imparts GMA EVP and COO, Gilberto Duavit Jr.

Atty. Felipe Gozon, GMA’s President and CEO, agrees. “Si Heart ay welcome na welcome sa atin dahil tayo ay Kapuso station at si Heart, sa Tagalog, ay Kapuso! At isang napakagaling na talent ‘yang si Heart.”

And what does her leading man have to say?

“Excited talaga akong makatrabaho si Heart. Matagal ko nang pinapangarap na makatrabaho si Heart,” shares Richard.

The two recently flew to Dubai to tape some scenes for the teleserye, which will be directed by Mark Reyes. “I’m looking forward to Dubai, working there, experiencing traveling with Heart, so I’m very excited,” shares Richard.

Heart is equally thrilled, and adds that traveling together will really help them to get to know each other better. But even before Dubai, Heart and Richard began bonding already. According to Heart in a Chika Minute interview, they met up in Batangas one Saturday for a small event.

Since Heart just had a rocky public breakup with Jericho Rosales, Richard promises that he’ll take care of her during their tapings. “Ako bahala sa’yo, you’re in good hands,” he assures Heart during the Codename: Asero story conference. “I’m going to make sure na sa set, masaya siya. Ang importante, kalimutan niya lahat ng problema niya, mage-enjoy kami, we’re gonna be working hard together.”

Also part of the primetime series’ cast are: Richard Gomez, Ehra Madrigal, Bubbles Paraiso, and Rocky Gutierrez, among others.

Heart is excited to be part of this new family, and we’re slowly seeing more of her in various GMA shows like S.O.P., where she has become a regular guest. She shares her message to all her fans out there: “Hi, it’s nice to be with you guys, I’m so excited sa mga gagawin ko para sa inyo, sana abangan niyo, at sana mai-welcome niyo ako na okay na okay. I’m proud to be Kapuso!”

Who would have thought that two exclusive stars of rival film outfits would join forces for not one, but two big movies? You simply have to give it to GMA Films and Star Cinema for making their “wild idea” come true! Text by Jillian Q. Gatcheco. Photos by Vic Eyatid.

It’s official!

Last May 22, iGMA got word that KC Concepcion was in the house. But why would an ABS-CBN contract star be in GMA?

Turns out it’s official: she was here to sign her GMA Films contract for a Valentine’s Day movie with primetime King Richard Gutierrez! For the opening speech of the contract signing, GMA Films president Ms. Annette Gozon-Abrogar announced to the Press that the movie will be written and directed by Joey Reyes. She adds, “Welcome KC, we’re very happy that you gave us an opportunity to work with you. And syempre si Richard is our Valentine King! So this time iba naman yung queen niya—si KC!”

Richard and KC did look like a king and queen in their matching blue formal outfits during the event held at the Network’s 16th floor conference room. “Its such a memorable and unforgettable experience because KC is joining us here in GMA,” Richard starts off. “Ako yung nauna sa ABS noong isang araw at ngayon naman siya yung nandito sa GMA. Noong isang araw ako yung kinakabahan, tapos sabi niya ngayon, siya naman ang kinakabahan! So thank you for this moment, thank you for giving us this chance and this opportunity to work together. It’s a wild idea, we made it happen. And of course KC, thank you. I’m super excited for this movie.”

The well-spoken pair was a delight to watch, especially since one couldn’t quite shoot down the possibility of a budding romance between them. They were, after all, very sweet and familiar with each other.

When it was KC’s turn to speak, she also thanked everyone who made the project possible. “I’m really happy that ABS-CBN lent me to GMA. I wouldn’t have had the guts to go and take the last step and the last push, to you know, make this project more possible [if it weren’t for all of you].”

Of course, Richard got a special mention from the mestiza beauty: “Thanks, Chard, for giving me your support and encouragement and convincing me that you were the right leading man! I don’t know if that was hard or not so hard to do, but anyway, we’re here and thank you for making things happen also. I [also] need to thank my mother station ABS for hearing us out, because it was teamwork. It was really a dance. I’m happy that the two members have come together somehow to make things happen.”

The contract

Ms. Annette explains the deal that GMA Films has worked out with Star Cinema, where KC is a contract star.

“What we wanted in the first place was a co-production to make it a really big event, parang ‘Ooh, two film outfits of different Networks joined together to have one big team.’ Kaya lang, hindi natuloy yun, but because of Richard and KC, they really wanted to have this movie, and because of the clamor for their team-up, then nakiusap lahat ng taong involved, and of course, hinihintay talaga ng buong Philippines na magkaroon sila ng movie.”

“We decided to just have two movies, kasi yun yung suggestion nila. The first movie is under Star Cinema, then the second movie will be under GMA Films. Syempre, along the way, nagkaroon ng mga negotiations on kung ano yung terms sa mga waiver, since Richard and KC are exclusive film stars of GMA Films and Star Cinema. Syempre, in all contracts, may negotiations. Nagkaroon ng kaunting glitches, but as you see, we signed [already], we have the waiver from Star Cinema, so all’s well that ends well.”

The first movie under Star Cinema will be released in August 2008, allegedly under the direction of Bb. Joyce Bernal. The second film, which will be directed by Joey Reyes, is set to air on February 11 as a Velentine’s Day offering. It will be co-produced with Regal Entertainment, like Richard’s past four Valentine flicks (Let The Love Begin, I Will Always Love You, The Promise, and My Bestfriend's Girlfriend).

A few words from direk

“I feel so old because I saw these two actors really grow up literally in front of my eyes,” direk Joey fondly recalls. “And I feel so young because I’m going to do what I love doing best—a love story which is so light for me, celebrating not only youth, but life and the world itself.”

“I chose to work in GMA Films because GMA was the first to offer me this project last year. And I respect my word, so I’m here in GMA, so happy and so proud to be working not only with everybody here in GMA, but most especially because I am going to be working with two young people who are very close to my heart now, KC and Richard.”

The movie will be tentatively called When I Met You, the title of the APO Hiking Society hit which will also be its theme song.

When asked how romantic the movie will be, direk Joey exclaimed, “Ay sobra!”

“My God, we have two of the most beautiful young people in the country today and you’re going to take them to various beautiful venues!” he adds. “Talagang manigas ka sa romance! Tapos Valentine’s pa! Let’s put it this way, it is very dangerous to those with diabetes!”

How will he treat the romantic scenes?

“It is not going to be one of those hampasan ng lobo at sundutan ng bulaklak movies,” he answers, mocking the stereotypical scenes of teenybopper flicks. “It’s going to be very, very real, very contemporary, but something very appropriate to people of their age.”

Working with each other

How are KC and Richard getting along so far?

KC shares, “Si Chard kasi, komportable ako sa kanya—our families know each other and we’re good friends, and we’re very close [in terms of our] age. He’s only a year older than me, and [among] all the leading men that we were thinking of, I guess Chard and I made the youngest pair. Not only is he young, but at our age, he’s done so much—so much more than I have. I have respect for him as an actor, and as somebody who’s been in the industry longer than I have. So in that sense, we’re a young, fun, team, and yet, he has the heart of someone who’s been here a long, long time. So I’m very excited.”

A member of the press asked KC if she’s willing to do a TV series with Richard on GMA--Captain Barbell Meets Darna, to be exact.


“Well, it’s a big part of Pinoy pop culture, so who wouldn’t want to be part of that history?” she replies with a big smile. Then she looks at Richard and says, “Kung okay lang kay Chard, e!”

Ever the dashing leading man that he is, Richard replies, “It would be a dream come true.”

Marami na ang excited at nag-aabang sa gagawing light romance film nina KC Concepcion at Richard Gutierrez under Star Cinema. Sa unang pagkakataon ay pagsasamahin sa isang giant project ang dalawa sa pinakamalalaking stars ng ABS-CBN at GMA. This big-budget film na kukunan pa ang ilang eksena sa Greece is also KC’s debut movie.


KC and Richard recently had an exclusive interview on The Buzz. Sa kauna-unahanag pagkakataon ay humarap sila sa kamera na magkasama. They looked good together. The young actor was overwhelmed to be in ABS-CBN. Maganda raw ang naging pag-welcome sa kanya ng ABS-CBN.


Negotiations for the movie took several months before an agreement was finally made. Richard said, “It’s been months. There were lots of meetings. Pero hindi pa rin ako nawalan ng pag-asa kasi hindi rin nawalan ng pag-asa si KC. I think that’s a big leap in the industry and for KC and me. I’m very happy that I’m here legally in ABS-CBN.”


“We’re very excited about everything. Pumasok kami sa butas ng karayom. It was really a great surprise for the two of us,” KC shared. Binabati raw nila ang isa’t isa ng “Hi, Kapamilya” and “Hi, Kapuso” kapag nagkikita sila.


When Ruffa first interviewed KC, the young actress told Ruffa that she wanted a movie about forbidden love. “I guess towards the end there’s a bit of that,” she revealed.


Matagal nang nali-link sa isa’t isa sina KC and Richard. Are they hoping na mas lalo pa nilang makikilala ang isa’t isa through their movie? “I’m really looking forward to it. It’s actually a long wait for me to do a project with KC and spend more time with her,” Richard said.


On her part, KC said “I feel so much comfortable that it’s Chard in my first film although I’d love to work with all the other leading men of ABS-CBN. He’s used to making movies. He’s used to working with different girls. Siya iyong may experience but at the same time we’re both young. He’s only a year older than me.”


Is KC willing to have a little romantic kissing scene? KC said, “A love story is not complete without a kiss, a stolen kiss.”


Sinabi nina KC and Richard na bihira silang magkita because of their hectic schedules. Halatang kinikilig si Ruffa sa kanyang kapatid at kay KC during the interview. Ruffa revealed that Richard once told her that he liked to be a better man because of KC. Sinabi rin daw ng aktor that KC is a girlfriend material kaya ayaw niyang ligawan ang dalaga if he cannot be a good man. “I don’t want to rush into things. I want to be settled and if I want to go out with KC, I want everything to be perfect,” he said.


KC said she likes the way Richard treats people. “It’s nice to have a set of good people around you in a way you want to be influenced.”

SAYANG at hindi nagkita sina Angel Locsin at Richard Gutierrez kahapon sa presscon ng MET Tathione. Dumating ang young actress nang makaalis na ang huli pero hindi naman talaga magkasabay ang kanilang call time.

Si Richard ang bagong endorser ng MET habang si Angel naman ay kasalukuyan pa lang nililigawan ng kumpanya dahil gusto nilang pagsamahin ang dating magka-love team bilang pinakabagong product endorsers nila.

Hindi na namin inabutan si Richard sa presscon dahil may commitment pa itong dapat puntahan, pero ayon sa mga kasamahan sa hanapbuhay na naka-interview sa young actor ay bawal daw pag-usapan si KC Concepcion at pelikulang gagawin nila sa Star Cinema.

Nilinaw naman ng marketing director ng MET na hindi pumalit si Richard kay Gabby Concepcion na matatandaang nag-back out sa kanila at pumirma sa Lucida-DS na kalabang kumpanya.

Bago pa man daw nila inalok si Gabby ay matagal na silang may standing offer kay Richard, dangan nga lamang at parati raw itong busy kaya hindi natutuloy.

Hindi raw masama ang loob nila kay Gabby sa pagbaback-out sa kanila dahil marami naman daw artista na puwede nilang maging endorser.

Finally, nagtagpo na sa set ng kanilang first ever movie together sina KC Concepcion at Richard Gutierrez. Nagkaeksena na rin sila for their Star Cinema movie na For The First Time.



Sa unang araw ng kanilang shooting, masayang-masaya sina KC at Richard na magkasama sa set.



"It's fun, it's good! It's our first scene together. Kasi nagsu-shoot na ako for the last four days. Ang saya na may kaeksena na ako. I'm really happy na finally, we're doing scenes together na," sey ni KC sa The Buzz.



"Matagal-tagal ko nang hinintay itong first day ko. First scene ko with KC at Direk Joyce . It's fun, kasi lahat bago sa kanya [KC]. We just want her to have fun," sabi naman ni Richard.



[B]UNUSUAL SWEETNESS. Sa kanilang mga kilos-ang kakaibang sweetness at pagiging sobrang close sa isa't isa-mahihinuha ng sinumang makakakita na may espesyal nang namamagitan sa kanilang dalawa. Mag-on na nga ba sina KC at Richard?



"Friends, friends kami! Wala, wala! Next time na lang yun! ‘Pag mas marami na kaming nagagawa for the movie. First day pa lang. Ha-ha-ha!" natatawang biro pa ni KC.



"First day pa lang natin, ‘di ba? Marami pang mangyayari, ‘di ba? Enjoy kami ‘pag magkasama kami. Tingnan natin kung ano'ng mangyayari along the way," makahulugan namang sabi ni Richard.



GOING TO GREECE. Sa July 14 pala nakatakdang umalis sina KC at Richard for Greece kung saan kukunan ang iba nilang mga eksena para sa kanilang first movie.



"Excited kami kasi parehong first time namin na pupunta sa Greece," sabi ni KC.


Kung excited ang dalawa sa kanilang pagsasama, ngayon pa lang, marami na sa kanilang fans ang excited na ring naghihintay na mapanood ang kanilang first team up.

We were told that Angel came home 10 a.m. that day from taping her teleserye with Piolo Pascual, Lobo, on ABS-CBN.
Our source wondered how many hours of sleep Angel had so she could be at the Trinoma for the finale of the fashion show featured during the launch on or before 6 p.m.
Angel is close to Ruffa’s family dahil at one time, ’di lang siya naging favorite leading lady ni Richard (Gutierrez), kundi naging sila rin for a while. No wonder na asikasung-asikaso siya ni Annabelle Rama, matriarch of the Gutierrez family.

THE first shooting day of “For the First Time,” the first movie teamup of Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion, finally took place last Saturday, directed by Joyce Bernal for Star Cinema. The first scene they shot was taken in a bar on Bonifacio High Street at the Fort. ABS-CBN Star Magic talent Denise Laurel was with them. From there, they shot the next scene in a bookstore. Both Richard and KC were in high spirits as they really look forward to working with each other.

“Gusto ko talagang makapareha si KC sa pelikula,” says Richard, who’s also now the top endorser of Flawless Face Body Medical. “Matagal ko nang pinangarap na makatrabaho siya and I expected her to be so much fun to be with. I’m happy to say that all my expectations about her were met.”

Ngayon, curious kami kung ano ang nauna, tawaging RG ang men’s line ng Flawless or get Richard as its endorser.

Richard’s acronym kasi is also RG.

Coincidence lang daw ito dahil they have Richard in mind na raw para alukan ng endorsement noong pi-nu-formulate pa nila ang men’s line na tatawagin nilang RG.

SAKAY ng isang mamahaling Audi R8 car (katulad ng kotseng ginamit ng bidang si Robert Downey, Jr. sa pelikulang Iron Man) si Richard Gutierrez nang dumating sa Dolce bar kamakalawa nang gabi sa official launch niya bilang male endorser ng Flawless.
Swak na swak kay Richard ang bagong men’s line ng Flawless na RG (o Real Gentleman) na tila isinunod sa initials ng kanyang pangalan.
Kung ang Ate Ruffa niya ay nasa Belo Medical Group, siya naman ay nasa sister company nitong Flawless, na magki-cater na rin sa kalalakihan.
Bilang isa sa pinaka*guwapong aktor ng local showbiz, aware si Richard na kailangan niyang ma*ging maalaga sa sarili niya at maging conscious sa kanyang itsura.
Aminado siyang may pagkabanidoso siya, pero hindi raw siya OA sa pagka-vain.

AYON sa mga nakasaksi sa first shooting day nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion ng movie nilang "For the First Time," extra-sweet at extra close raw sa isa’t isa ang dalawa. Halata rin daw na parehong ganado magtrabaho ang mga ito.

But then, kapag tinatanong si Richard kung nanliligaw na ba siya kay KC, hindi pa ang sagot niya. Aniya, they’re having fun sa set ng ginagawa nilang movie. Nag-e-enjoy lang muna sila kapag magkasama silang dalawa ni KC. "Let’s see what will happen along the way," he said.

KC, hindi ‘sasaktan’ ni Richard!

SA presscon ng bagong endorsement ni Richard Gutierrez na Flawless, nakiusap ang binata ni Annabelle Rama na huwag pangunahan ang sitwasyon nila ni KC Concepcion.


Sabi ni Richard sa mga manunulat, huwag daw sanang madaliin ang ‘unawaan’ nila ni KC, dahil baka maudlot pa ito.


Pero, inaamin din ni Richard na mas maganda ang samahan nila ngayon ni KC, lalo na at madalas silang magkasama.


Sa totoo lang, kapansin-pansin ang ningning sa mga mata ni Richard kapag tungkol kay KC ang tinatanong sa kanya.


Katunayan, parang big*lang kumislap ang mga mata ni Richard nang tanungin siya ng mga manunulat kung nasaang le*vel na ang samahan nila ni KC ngayon.


“Nandoon lang. Basta, happy ako na magkasama kami sa kahit saan, sa project, sa pagta-travel.


“Kami ni KC, nandoon na kami sa moment na kapag magkasama kami, masayang-masaya kami. Masyado na kaming magkakilala.


“Magkakilala at magkaibigan ang mga family namin. We have a common bonding, kaya okey ang samahan namin,” sabi ni Richard.


May nagsabi na doble ang effort ni Richard na magpaguwapo ngayon para kay KC?


“Ahmm.. Hindi naman!


“Okey naman kami ni KC kapag magkasama. Hindi naman ako `yung laging nakaporma kapag kasama ko siya.


“Depende sa okasyon. Minsan nga ‘pag tatambay lang kami, naka-jeans lang ako. Mas maganda ngang ipakita ko agad ‘yung ibang side ko sa kanya.”


Ano ang masasabi ni Richard sa reaksiyon ng mommy niyang si Annabelle, na dapat ay huwag na huwag niyang sasaktan si KC?


“Yes, nagpayo siya sa akin. Siyempre, papakinggan ko ‘yung mga sinasabi nila. Pero ang importante sa akin ay ‘yung sa aming dalawa ni KC, kung ano ‘yung nararamdaman ko at nararamdaman niya.


“Siyempre, hindi ako magpapa-apekto kung ano ang sabihin nila. Ang importante kung ano ang na*raramdaman namin ni KC.

Desidido na si Annabelle Rama na mag-produce ulit ng mga pelikula after her comeback movie with her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez, ang My Monster Mom.



Pagbibidahan ng anak niyang si Richard Gutierrez ang gustong i-produce na horror-suspense movie ni Annabelle. Gusto raw sana nila pang-filmfest, pero hindi na aabot. Pero target nila ang maipalabas din yun this year at hindi makakaapekto sa first moviet team-up nina Richard at KC Concepcion.



"Iniiwasan namin ‘yon. Eto naman, hindi love story. Naiiba ito, pero under negotiation pa. Supposed to be pang-festival [MMFF], pero hindi aabot. Kasi tinatanong namin ang GMA [Films], hindi raw aabot talaga," lahad ni Annabelle.



Ano naman ang reaksiyon niya sa balitang magkasintahan na raw sina KC at Richard?



"Ay, hindi pa!" tanggi ni Annabelle sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). "Sure ako na hindi pa talaga. Magkaibigan lang silang dalawa talaga. Kasi hindi naman si Richard nagmamadali, e.



"Kasi sabi ko, lagi naming sinasabi sa kanya, ng daddy niya, ako at si Ruffa na, ‘Pagdating kay KC, Chard, pag-isipan mo mabuti, ha. Huwag ka basta-basta manligaw kung hindi ka pa ready. Kasi nakakahiya kay Sharon [Cuneta, KC's mother], nakakahiya kay Kiko [Pangilinan]. Gusto namin kapag talagang manligaw ka, ready ka na. Serious ka na sa kanya.'



"Hindi serious, ibig [kong] sabihin, hindi naman siya yung pakakasalan. Hindi na siya mag-double-double ba na may KC, ‘tapos may ibang ganyan. Ibig sabihin, stick to one," paliwanag ng ina ni Richard.



Nagsabay na ba ng girlfriend si Richard?



"Hindi naman," tanggi ni Annabelle. "Hindi ko rin sinasabi na pakasal. Basta kapag nanligaw ka kay KC, kailangan manligaw ka kung ready ka na."



RUFFA'S NEW SUITOR. Ano naman ang masasabi niya sa bagong manliligaw raw ni Ruffa na hawig daw sa mister nitong si Yilmaz Bektas? Basketball player daw ang naturang guy, na import ng Purefoods TJ Hotdogs at ka-teammate ni James Yap (asawa ni Kris Aquino).



"Ang alam ko ano...taga-ibang country. Hawig kay Yilmaz? Hindi naman siguro. Ang nagpakilala nun, si Kris. Si Kris ang nagpakilala sa kanya. At saka sila ni Kris ang magkakasama-sama.



Na-meet na ba niya yung guy na sinasabing nanliligaw kay Ruffa?



"Hindi naman. Marami akong na-meet doon sa party niya, pero hindi ko alam kung sino doon ang nanlilgaw sa kanya."



Worried ba siya kapag na-in love ulit si Ruffa?



"Kailangan niyang ma-in love ulit dahil siyempre boring kung wala naman siyang boyfriend. Bata pa naman siya, maganda pa. Sabi ko lang sa kanya, ‘This time, be wise of choosing the guy na makasama mo ulit dahil siyempre, may dalawang anak ka na. Kailangan yung guy magustuhan, mamahalin yung anak mo, at i-provide ang mga anak mo ng lahat ng pangangailangan. Yun lang naman ang kailangan ko sa kanya. Hindi ko pinangarap na mag-boyfriend siya ulit, ‘tapos siya ang magpapakain, siya ang magtratrabaho. Ayoko ng ganun."



HER GRANDAUGHTERS' WISH. Sa huling interview ng PEP kay Ruffa naiyak siya sa wish ng kanyang dalawang anak na sina Lorin at Venice. Sana raw ikasal ulit ang kanilang Mommy at "Bubba" na si Yilmaz.



"Oo nga, yun na nga. Na-shocked nga ako kay Lorin at Venice kasi bago pumunta ng ABS-CBN, sabi ko, ‘Lorin, make a wish for your mom. Make a wish that your mommy will be healthy, happy.' Lahat ng sinabi ko sa kanya, hindi naman niya sinabi. ‘Tapos nung nasa stage na sila, iba ang sinabi. Kaya ako'y super-shocked sa dalawang batang ‘yan."



May kumurot ba sa puso niya?



"Oo, siyempre naman," sagot ni Annabelle. "Kaya naman ako naging malambot na rin kay Yilmaz dahil na rin sa mga bata. Dahil lagi nilang sinasabi sa akin, ‘Lola, I miss Bubba.' Hindi mo puwedeng kontrahin yun, bata yun, e, di ba?



"Kaya ako naman, ‘Okay, Lorin, tell your Bubba to come to visit you.' Kaya lagi nilang kinakausap ang tatay nila sa phone dahil lagi nilang sinasabi sa tatay nila na, ‘Bubba, are you coming to the Philippines?' Pinababayaan ko sila. Kung pupunta si Yilmaz dalawin ang mga bata, hindi ako kokontra."



Kung magkabalikan sina Ruffa at Yilmaz, okey rin ba sa kanya?


"Ang sabi ko lang kay Ruffa, ‘Bago mo gagawin ulit ang bumalik kay Yilmaz, pag-isipan mo ng one thousand times. Tingnan mong mabuti kung yung pinaggagagawa niya hindi na maulit. Pero I doubt, mahirap na," pahayag ni Annabelle.
