Hi everyone!
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm currently doing research for the university and I need input on eastern religion prophets, saints, whatever you call them. I need to be able to gather autobiographies by these considered "holy" people and my group will be doing a personality profile on them. Sounds nerdy I know, but your help will really be greatly appreciated. We already have data on western saints (i.e. Catholic and Christian) and we need variability in our sample, and honestly the task is a little daunting. Alrighty, here is the la list of what I have so far:
Prophet Mohammed -Muslim
Sun Tzu -Chinese
Lao Tse "
Confuscius "
Rabbi Moshe Ben Maimon -Jewish
Jesus Christ "
Ezekiel "
Jeremiah "
Isiah "
Samuel "
Abraham "
Malchizedek "
Zoroaster - I don't know......
Dalai Lama -Tibet
Thanks in advance to all who'll post, your help is greatly appreciated.

Umm... do you even know what eastern religions are? Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are western religions so I don't understand why you would consider Mohammmed, Jesus, Ezekiel, that rabbi dude, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Samuel, etc. as figures of eastern religions.
Zoroaster was the founder of Zoroastrianism, an ancient religion (it still exists today but not in the mainstream) being practiced somewhere in Turkey. I am not really sure if this should be considered a "western" religion due to the location where it originated.
You may want to also include the numerous gurus of Sikhism such as Gobind Singh, Amar Das, etc.

Sun Tzu was a military strategist. He took warfare as an artform.
Confuscius was a philosopher.
Both were never saints nor prophets but they are recognized all over by their deeds.
Dalai Lama on the otherhand is said to be the reincarnation (I don't know how many) of the original Buddha. Prophet? Saint? No comment. But I do admire him for his quest for peace for one and the many.
Ever drifted to the religions of Hindu?

Thanks so much! I Really appreciate the feedback.
Unfortunately we currently do not have a concrete definition for what we're looking for. I guess I should have used "considered as holy people in varaious religions" instead of using prophets/ saints. Thanks somuch though for enlightening me, that makes my own vision clearer and my carelessness in my use of words apparent :D
