I think the 1999 championship was won also by SBC. This was the team of Membrere, Arjun Cordero and Tenorio.

Sa PE book namin. Mapua ang nag champion sa juniors nung 1997. pang last year un ni Feliciano, tapos nagchampion ulit sila nung 1998. *** hubalde, Tiongco, Sta. Maria at Maneclang ang mga players ng Red robins. San Beda dina ng kalaban nila nung 98 finals. grandslam sana ang Red robins kung nanalo *** nung 99 finals kaso red cubs ang nanalo nun.

Martinez is the next JV Casio in the making with his hot hands in the rainbow arc... I hope that this young fellow will not follow the footsteps of JV Casio, realizing that Casio left San Beda for La Salle, but rather he should follow Arjun Cordero, giving his own loyalty to San Beda.

How close is he to bringing that championship to SBC? He will be on his last year next year.
