JRU Heavy Bombers, A CONTENDER or a PRETENDER?

The Heavy Bombers had a very good start in this season wars, posting big games against Red Lions and Mapua. Leading the first the round of eliminations (They are the top-seeded team, since they beat Letran and San Beda, who joins with them at 5-2). Leading the eliminations round is the trademark of the Bombers for the last 3 years, but always fail to bring back the NCAA crown back (They last won in 1972)

But their last two games seems to be a different one.

What do you think about them. A Pretender or a Contender?

AHA! so far JRU Heavy Bombers is a contender and your right, this is their 4th year of being a contender but failed in the championship for past 3 years.

Since they are not leading and a sure team naman who make it in the final four "baka naman pahiyang lang na 3rd or 4th ka sa standing then you'll be in the championship and win the crown".

I think a Jose Rizal and San Beda in this year championship is in the making!

THEY ARE NOT FOR REAL

they will be a pretender always...

if they will still play the same intesity in the first round, they have a better chance to be on the finals. problem is they had back to back losses againts CSB (21 pts.) & UPHR (8 pts.).

i hope they could play better team in their next assignments coz' almost all teams have been improved and all of the teams are almost equal to the others. although majority of the heavy bombers are on the 1st & 2nd year they have an attitude to win. being an alumni of jose rizal, i was saddned by thier losses, i wish the team the best of luck in this ncaa season.
