ok, i'm so afraid of getting dark lips...is there actually a product that is like a balm (or whatever) that you can wear casually and at the same time makes your lips more red...

use red japanese paper.... try moistening the paper & dub it on your precious lips ;)
LIP BALM would do.... just make sure it has sunscreen with it.
or if you want i- coppertone mo with spf 45!
cool huh?

wow clawed out...dami alam ah.. :D
criduchat, use lip products made by reputable companies. shu uemura has a lip balm/tint thing in wine/caramel. it makes your lips look naturally pink. you can try bobbi brown's lip tint. it has spf 15. tea tint #1 or #2 is good. it's sheer and it does not feel "heavy" on the lips.

Right now i'm using this Soothing Lip Therapy by Murad. It's actually working good for me. It's not sticky, it doesn't make my lips flaky. My lips really absorb this thing like it's been thirsting for it, unlike some that just sit on top of my lips. It's a good prep for lipstick, but I usu. just wear it alone. And I also don't remember reapplying all the time *okay*
Oh and it's true, force yourself to have 8 glasses of water everyday coz it hydrates your skin and makes it look clearer, and it makes your lips less dry. Check your toothpaste too. And always use a straw *okay* Yan mga tips sakin. It doesn't hurt that much naman to follow :D

In addition to what had been posted, exfoliate your lips using your TOOTHBRUSH 2x a week. This will help eliminate the superficial dead skin cells and promote smoother, kissable lips.

thanks mary_poppins !
and yup, i tried the toothpaste thing last night! at first, i was so scared (sabi ko, this better work or else huhuntingin ko yung nag-suggest nito)..tapos it didn't help na when i applied it, my lips (obviously) looked paler dahil nga white yung paste..but when i woke up , i rinsed it off, and it did work..it's great...
and yup, i'm drinking litres and litres of water na..angelfire_blue-malulunod na yata ako, but hey, it's working...

I think this is my 3rd endorsement in PEX for Avon lip balm. I got the SpongeBob one in Cherry...it's good for the lips, smells SO yummy, and has a rosy tint. It's my "can't live without it" beauty product and it's cheap as hell too.
I also REALLY like DuWop's Lip Venom...it's a clear lip gloss but it "irritates" your lips to make them more plump by stimulating circulartion to the lips, making them redder as well. A bit pricey, but it works well.
