I need you helpful opinions/comments on this matter.

Last Saturday we ordered a toyota Rav4 from Toyota Dagupan. It arrived in Dagupan Monday this week. They were supposed to deliver it here(Ilocos Norte) Tuesday kaso nga lang bumagyo at baha daw sa Dagupan. Now, I talked to a sales rep and sabi they'll make the delivery tomorrow na. My problem is this: Hindi kaya nabaha yung sasakyan habang nasa casa ng Toyota dyan sa Dagupan? I'm not so familiar about the place eh. I asked the sales rep about this and sabi naman nya inligay daw nila yung car sa showroom nila noong bumabagyo at hindi daw umabot ang baha sa casa. Tanong ko lang sa inyong mga taga-Dagupan kung hindi ba umaabot ang baha sa loob ng casa ng Toyota? Lalo na noong nakaraang bagyo? I'm really worried about the car eh.

hi! i know the owner of toyota dagupan.. i also know where the showroom is. don't worry, some parts of dagupan were flooded mid last week but definitely not the showroom of toyota. i don't know of any car showroom in dagupan that's being flooded. so, surely, your car has not been immersed in floodwater! :)

i hope you can sleep now :)

how can you tell is a vehicle is binaha:

1. you can smell the difference of a brand new car compared that to binaha.
2. check underneath the carpets, well fenders(usually covered with hard plastic sheet, run your fingers inside of the bumpers.,
3. and last: no matter how much cleaning they do. tthey usually missed to removed the accumulated water in the spare tire compartment. ( this is the case in a car. not sure in SUV)

good question naman yun peejay. maski sino has the right to worry about buying a car in a flooded areas especially Dagupan na tabing dagat pa naman and those car lots are too close to Pantal river na konting ulan lang ay nag ooverflow na. i almost bought a flooded car luckily i found out by checking the the tire compartment . the water is still there. whew.
