Has anyone read the whole series? I am on book four. I know the best books are the first and the fifth. I bought the entire series while I was in the middle of the first book.
A new book the 8th is coming out- The Mark. And "Left Behind" will be in theaters in the States this February 2001.
Shucks, you've bought all of them already!? They cost a fortune. I only have books 1 and 3 so far and I'll be getting book 2 on Sunday. I'll get the others if and when I have the money. :D
So tell me honeybums, do you believe what the book says about the end of days?

hello ada,
yes i believe what the book predicts because it comes from the word of God. but if you mean that is what's really going to happen. i think God can be more creative...

ive read the series till book 5...or was it 6? basta hanggang doon sa book just before "Assassins"--haven't read that one yet.
these books are really great--tumatayo balahibo ko nung binabasa ko --n yes, the stuff's basically true--go look in the Bible. it's not just mentioned in Revelations alone, but in diff. books of the Bible, by diff. prophets, too.
by the way, the authors Tim LaHaye n Jerry Jenkins r really good Christian authors who have written other books. their wives, too. trivia: these two, also their wives, are all psychologists, from what i can remember.

I've leafed through it, but I haven't gotten down and tried really reading the series. Premillenial prophecy accounts are always interesting though, especially in the light of real-world current events. Still, from what I've read, I think they interpreted some of Revelation a bit too literally, without any um... secular concessions. (Y'know, storms of fire and worldwide tremors without any scientific explanation. But then, these are prophesied works of God, after all.)

I love this series. I like the way they portray the characters especially Buck Williams.

Great series...the authors did a good job of bringing the prophesies of the Bible in the form of a novel. This may just change our life, hope we're not too late and get left behind. =)

Wow!!! The series is really one of the best. It is definitely not just another Christian novel series; The pace, the characters, and the way the story is developed keeps the readers gripped 'til the very end of each book.
'Finished books 1 & 2 in three days...

I've finished reading the first book already and I didn't really like it. I was intrigued by the title and concept at first, but that faded as I got to the heart of the story.
Among other things, nasablayan ako sa ending and the way they portrayed the Antichrist. And the interpretation of biblical prophecy was too literal for my own taste. Another thing was that I couldn't help thinking that there was some sort of Christian propaganda injected into those books throughout the time I was reading it. And that subliminal message it was imparting was not something I could totally agree with. :(
But for Christian fiction it's a nice try though.

Have you read the left behind series?
Me, I've just started on book one (Left Behind) and I am hooked! :nerd: Not to mention it made me a little bit more religious :newangel:
Fortunately, my brother has until book six " The Assassins" so I don't have to spend money for it :D maybe when I NEED to buy book seven already..the books are very expensive :(
So what do you make of it? Do you like it? Hate it? are you addicted to it?

The series is about the "Rapture" the Earth's last days... more like reading the words of Revalation from the Bible come alive in fiction...
You should try reading it to understand what I mean...:) But like I said if you get hooked...be prepared to pay the consequences -literally. :D
The books cost roughly around P 500 (paperback) and P800 (hard-bound). The pocket size book cost around P300 but you would have to wait ages for it..so far, they only got the first book out on pocket size.

it's a good series... makes you think... makes you wanna get closer to God...
they already sell it as a set sa national bookstore... books 1-6 for 2thousand something pesos...
have any of you guys seen the movie??? it was good too... :) Buck Williams was played by Kirk Cameron... they should've picked a better Nick Carpathia though... pangit yung nasa movie eh... mukang poste...:D

Talaga? Parang I am not familiar with the movie, aphrael. :hmm:
But a friend of mine nga told me that she thinks she saw the film already.:)
I really hope nga they think of cutting the price or at least fast-track the release of the pocket-size cheaper books. I just got a friend addicted to the series recently and he's complaining to me how expensive the books are (but he still keeps on buying :teehee: )

the movie wasn't that bad... it just didn't reach the standard of the book... they changed a lot of things...
the guy who played nicolae didn't look like the nicolae described in the book... rayford in the movie seemed to have a weaker personality than the one in the book... the only thing that matched to the book's standard in the movie was chloe and buck.
tribulation force is supposed to be released this year (if it hasn't been releasd yet).

they're the best. i'm christian kase and grabe, all the things i heard during sunday school and during woships are actually written down on exciting paperback series. before i used to buy (i have up to book 4 na) right after i finish a book kase i a;ways itch to read what's next. grabe! ang galeng nila mambitin ng tao diba?? but it's really expensive, 600per bookfor the paperback ones? geez i don't have enough cash to shell out. kaya i borrow from my cousin na lang, he bought everything from rockwell e. mahal grabe.
argh! they had that on the mv duomos? i went there but all i bought was language books (yung mga want to learn spanish? dutch? french?) haha christian books cookbooks the narnia tales ata yon and some schoolbooks (wala lang, colored e hahahaha) i didn't see the left behind series! do they really come every year?? arghhh sayang. ohwell
BTW, have you guys seen the website? ( http://www.leftbehind.com ) i've always wondered how nicolae carpathia looks like. he looks exactly like how i pictured him. ahaha super gwapo. sayang he's the antichrist. hayy.... the good looking ones are always the evil ones. hahaha

i've read book 1. like an earlier poster on this thread, to me it stunk of propaganda. the way the prophecies are too literal just turns me off and makes me feel that lahaye and jenkins are ignoramuses. the storytelling style though was engaging enough, but i just hate how the subject matter is dealt with.

Have you guys read any of the books in the Left Behind series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. There are currently 9 books in the series:
1. Left Behind
2. Tribulation Force
3. Nicolae
4. Soul Harvest
5. Apollyon
6. Assassins
7. The Indwelling
8. The Mark
9. Desecration
Book 10, titled The Remnant, will be out on July 2.
I've just finished Book 5, and hopefully, will have saved enough money this week to get Book 6. That's my only complain so far- the books are kinda expensive! My favorite so far are Nicolae and Apollyon.
Tell me what you think.

the last time i went to powerbooks, kita ko na u could buy all 9 books and mas mura sya kesa paisa-isa... i dunno kung meron pa rin yun ngayon...
ako, i have yet to start on nicolae pa lang... pero the first time i was introduced sa book na to, i wasnt really that interested...
when i read the books, i dunno i get affected and makes me question myself at times.. minsan pa nga i get scared e... i've read the book of Revelation in the Bible and kung anon yung sinasabi sa Left Behind Series, ganun din yung sa Bible... siguro 1 reason why im in this series of books is because same yung religious beliefs ko with the characters...

ako naman my religious beliefs were kaput before reading the series. i'm labeled as an agnostic cum universalist.
but i had this same scary feeling when i read Left Behind, and it intensified with Tribulation Force. i'm not proud to say that it took a work of fiction to make me read the Bible again (last i read it was in my 5th grade religion class). the scariest thing about this is that the events in the series are believable. they could happen.
right now i'm still a little confused. i'm actually like chloe before she became a member of the trib force- intellectually proud and analytical. but i'm really trying. and both the Bible and this series are helping me.
you don't have to be religious to read this series. for those who just want entertainment and action, this is packed with lots of action. but 10 to 1 once you've read even just 1 book, you'll never be the same again.

ABOUT THE BOOK
From Our Editors
Beautifully written and biblically accurate, Left Behind: A Novel of the Earth's Last Days is the book that began it all...or at least the book that heralds the beginning of the end! This bestselling series will appeal not only to Christian readers but to anyone who loves a great story -- they don’t call the Bible "the greatest story ever told" for nothing. Beginning with the rapture of the church as related in the Book of Revelations, Jenkins and LaHaye brilliantly imagine the tribulations we will experience and endure, and perfectly describe for us the events prophesied to occur prior to Christ's return to earth. The Left Behind novels are the fastest-selling works of Christian fiction ever published.
From the Publisher
In one cataclysmic moment, millions around the globe disappear.
Vehicles, suddenly unmanned, careen out of control. People are terror stricken as loved ones vanish before their eyes.
In the midst of global chaos, airline captain Rayford Steele must search for his family, for answers, for truth. As devastating as the disappearances have been, the darkest days may lie ahead.
Synopsis
During a routine flight, airline pilot Rayford Steele is thinking about seducing a young flight attendant when suddenly over 100 of his passengers vanish! Now Rayford and the others left behind are faced with mass chaos and baffling personal loss. Among the remaining passengers is star reporter Buck Williams, who just got the assignment of a lifetime—find out what happened and why!
In this fascinating apocalyptic thriller, best-selling Christian inspirational authors LaHaye and Jenkins pool their considerable talents. Left Behind begins the gripping story that is now the best-selling inspirational series of all time. Actor Richard Ferrone provides the powerful, hard-edged narration for this thrilling unabridged audiobook.

From The Critics
Library Journal
Pilot Rayford Steele is flying his 747 to London and contemplating whether or not to commit adultery when a flight attendant gives him some frightening news. Some of their passengers have disappeared into thin air, leaving only their clothing as a sign that they ever existed. After the flight crew does a head count, they realize more than 100 people are missing. One passenger still on the plane is reporter Buck Williams, whose recent experiences and witnessing of some strange events in Israel have led him to rethink his own lack of religious faith. As word comes that the entire world is suffering from disappearances, as well as horrifying natural disasters, Steele and Williams soon realize they, and the rest of the world, are experiencing the "Rapture of the Saints." This biblical story foretells that true believers will be taken into heaven, while sinners and nonbelievers must remain on earth as punishment for their lack of faith. The two men join to form the Tribulation Force, a group of those left behind who are dedicated to fighting the antichrist. While the book is riddled with cardboard characterizations and creaky dialog, those flaws are less apparent in the audio version. Jack Sondericker's smooth narration and calm inflection make the novel's often over-the-top message seem much more believable. Recommended for fans of this popular series.--Melissa Hudak, Centegra Health Syst., McHenry, IL Copyright 1999 Cahners Business Information.
Library Journal
On a flight from Chicago to London, several passengers aboard Capt. Rayford Steele's plane suddenly and mysteriously disappear. When Steele radios to London to report the situation, he discovers that the incident on his plane is not an isolated phenomenon but a worldwide occurrence. As Steele begins his search for answers, he learns that the Christ has come to take the faithful with Him in preparation for the coming apocalyptic battle between good and evil and that those who have been left behind must face seven dark and chaotic years in which they must decide to join the forces of Christ or the forces of Anti-Christ. Jenkins, writer-in-residence at Moody Press, and LaHaye (A Nation Without a Conscience, Tyndale, 1994) have written a gripping thriller that captures the anxiety and fear that interpretations of Revelation often inspire. For most libraries.

Outstanding End Times Fiction
I do not even know why they call this book fiction. It has all the real judgements and things that will happen in the rapture packed into 11 books (book 12 coming out in 3/04). Those people that say that these things will not really happen do not believe in Revelation and think it is a fairy tail that was written for some dumb reason. I have read Books 1-5 and are reading book 6 (Assassins) right now. These are great christian prophicy fiction books that I think everyone should read... read them and lone them out to a friend and get someone saved and going to heaven. The plot is very good and has got very devoloped people. I hope you make the dicision wisely and get saved. I will list the books here for your convience ;1. Left Behind: A Novil Of The Earths last days; 2. Tribulation Force: The Conitiuning Drama Of Thoes Left Behind; 3. Nicoale: The Rise Of The Antichrist; 4. Soul Harvest: The World Takes Sides; 5. Apollyon: The Destroter Is Unleashed; 6. Assassins: Assingment:Jerselum Target: Antichrist; 7. The Indwelling: The Beast Takes Possesion; 8. The Mark: The Beast Rules The World; 9. Desceration: The Antichrist Takes The Throne; 10. The Rement:On The Brick Of Armegreddon; 11. Armegreddon: The Cosmic Battle Of The Ages. Have A Fun Time Reading The Left Behind Searies!!

Terrific Portrayal of the Rapture!
This book was nothing short of awesome. I felt as if I was in the book experiencing the Rapture and the post-Rapture problems. I am usually a romantic so when I read that they (LaHaye and Jenkins) wrote in a romance between Chloe and Buck I was thrilled. This book also educated me on the Rapture and helped me to understand many verses from the book of Revelations and the book of Thessalonians. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

Pure entertainment...
After reading another novel based on the tribulation prophecies of the Bible ('Conquest of Paradise' by Britt Gillette), I was driven to begin reading this series because of its overwhelming popularity. From page one of 'Left Behind,' I found myself hooked. Instantly, the reader cements a personal bond with the characters, especially Rayford Steele and Buck Williams. The chaos of the rapture is illustrated in a manner reminiscent of the old Godzilla films. Although it’s borderline silly in its portrayal of the real world, the novel continued to force me to turn each page as if some unknown force moved my hand. The author kept dropping tidbits of suspense onto each page, just enough to hook the reader and make him want more. This a novel that is definitely worth the hype, the only problem I have is the author’s totally ridiculous outlook on international politics. The idea of the emerging one world single currency and the 'ecret group of financiers'seemed a bit cliched, like something you would read on conspiracy websites. But the simple story and the reader’s relationship with the characters makes up for the lack of realism. I look forward to reading the other books in the series, and I encourage fans of the books to pick 'onquest of Paradise: An End-Times Nano-Thriller' in addition to 'Left Behind'. It’s the book that got me into this series. What 'Left Behind' lacks in realism, 'Conquest of Paradise' adds in abundance. Less subtle than 'Left Behind', the antichrist isn’t readily identifiable in the first chapter. In fact, since I wasn’t expecting to read a tribulation novel, it totally blew me away. The prose is more advanced than 'Left Behind' and the international politics is identical to the current world scene and the war on terror. Peppered with biblical verses, 'Conquest of Paradise' will turn even the most hardened skeptics into believers, or at least it will make them think twice. It’s a novel that deals with the deeply important subject of molecular nanotechnology, and no one can afford to miss it. As for myself, I believe we are in the time of the end. I just hope I can finish this series before then! And I hope the rest of the 'Left Behind' books are as exciting as book one. I highly recommend 'Left Behind' for fans of suspense and international thrillers...

Great portrayal of the rapture
Second only to 'Conquest of Paradise: An End-Times Nano-Thriller' as my favorite novel chronicling the Great Tribulation, 'Left Behind' is a novel that draws the reader into its world of chaos and religious mystery. The novel begins when characters Rayford Steele (airline pilot) and Hattie Durham (stewardess) experience the disappearance of millions of raptured Christians in the middle of a routine flight. When their plane lands, the whole world stands in chaos, twenty-car pile-ups on highways, missing family members, etc. The novel then follows the experiences of several characters at once, most notably journalist Buck Williams and pilot Rayford Steele, as they come to grips with the tragedy that has struck the earth. In the midst of this catastrophe (which the majority of people do not realize was the rapture), an influential politician rises through the ranks of the world’s elite, slowly becoming a figure of prominence. Nicolae Carpathia, soon to become the antichrist, emerges as a major player on the world scene. Throughout the story, Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins weave a wonderful tapestry of suspense based on the scriptural prophecies of the end of days. Although a bit simplistic and unbelievable at times, the writing plants so many tidbits of suspense that readers are forced to turn each page to find out what’s next. Although I felt 'Conquest of Paradise' was far superior in its portrayal of end times events, 'Left Behind' is a forceful story in its own right. The book truly makes you wonder, ‘What would I do if I was left behind’?

I've been meaning to read this for the last 8 years but it just plainly scares me. The thought of me, a Christian, being left behind just because my faith wasn't strong enough. *sigh*
Anyway, I've seen the movies though starring Kirk Cameron. :)
For Christians who want their belief shaken and be put to the test, this is the series to read. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are awesome writers.

biased against what??? This book is meant to be read by Christians. So, if you aren't one, then I figured, YES, you'd think it's biased.
As far as grammatical errors... hmmm.. so, what?? They probably just have a bad editor. The book isn't published by a major publisher.

writings under the same genre with Left Behind is a good way to reach out to those whose oppurtunity for salvation may never come no more.
i had a close friend back in high school and i felt that the Spirit was leadin me to share the Word to her but i simply said 'no' in the hope that if i prayed for her then maybe someone else would do what i could have done.
a year later, she died and dun even whether someone really shared the Gospel to her or not. i still feel guilt and i feel like her blood was poured unto my hands...

I have this one too, but I haven't gotten around to reading it. Ewan ko, parang hindi lang masyadong appealing sa akin. But I might give it a try after I finish "Anyone's Got a Match?" :)

Anyone who reads this series? There are twelve books out already, worth 600 pesos each. Kinda expensive, yeah, but it sure is worth it. I've just bought and read the first two books, and I can't wait to buy and read the next one. So far, I find the series exciting, disturbing, and real. It sets the end of the world as described in The Bible's Revelation in a contemporary and modern world.
But it's more than entertainment. It's enlightenment.
~~
Book One
Left Behind
A Novel of the Earth's Last Days
Passengers aboard a Boeing 747 en route to Europe disappear. Instantly. Nothing remains except their rumpled piles of clothes, jewelry, fillings, surgical pins, and the like. All over the world, in a flash, cars are left unmanned.
Terror and chaos continues worldwide as the cataclysm unfolds. For those left behind, the apocalypse has just begun.
~~
Book Two
Tribulation Force
The Continuing Drama of Those Left Behind
Tribulation Force is the group of new believers who came to salvation after the disappearance of millions of Christians around the globe.
Comprised of Pilot Rayford Steele, his daughter Chloe Steele, journalist Buck Williams, and Pastor Bruce Barnes, this end-times force band together to witness for truth and to battle the enemies of God.
~~
Book Three
Nicolae
The Rise of Antichrist
It has been nearly two years since the mass disappearance, called the Rapture.
As the seven-year period hurtles toward the midpoint, the Tribulation Force faces conflict at every turn in their holy war against Nicolae Carpathia, the ruler of the new Global Community.
~~
Book Four
Soul Harvest
The World Takes Sides
Soul Harvest takes the reader from Iraq to America, from six miles in the air to underground shelters, from desert sands to the bottom of the Tigris River, from hope to devastation and back again all in a search for truth and life.
Now, with the fulfillment of more judgment prophecies, hardly any skeptics remain. Even the enemies of God now know whom they are fighting, and the world is forced to take sides.
~~
Book Five
Apollyon
The Destroyer is Unleashed
While the world is assaulted by God's judgments, the faithful band of believers are forced underground as they are declared international fugitives by Global Community Potentate Nicolae Carpathia.
The world watches as the Tribulation Force risks their lives to attend the great Meeting of the Witnesses that will result in the showdown between the Force and the Global Community regime.
~~
Book Six
Assassins
Assignment: Jerusalem, Target: Antichrist
The Tribulation Force hurtles toward the four murders foretold in Scripture, as Rayford and others vie for the "privilege" of being the tool that fulfills the prophecy that the Antichrist himself is to suffer a lethal head wound.
World history and prophecy collide in Jerusalem at the middle of the Tribulation for the most explosive episodes yet of the continuing drama of those left behind.
~~
Book Seven
The Indwelling
The Beast Takes Possession
Global Community forces launch a massive manhunt for the assassin of their fallen leader. Meanwhile, members of the Tribulation Force are scattered around the globe, and only a small number remain in the safe house, which may be compromised.
The group's spiritual leader, Tsion Ben-Judah, keeps watch to see if prophecy will be fulfilled through Antichrist's resurrection, indwelt by Satan.
~~
Book Eight
The Mark
The Beast Rules the World
After a stunning turn of events, world leader Nicolae Carpathia officially takes his place as the Antichrist and begins his three-and-a-half-year reign of terror over the earth.
The Tribulation Force scrambles to survive as the Antichrist decrees that every human being must have the mark of loyalty or die.
~~
Book Nine
Desecration
Antichrist Takes the Throne
Rayford Steele and his ragtag team of flying rebels—having arrived by the dozens from around the globe—ready themselves to serve as agents of rescue for God's chosen people.
Led by soft-spoken Chaim Rosenzweig, believers in Jerusalem must flee or take the mark of the beast.
~~
Book Ten
The Remnant
On the Brink of Armagaddon
The earth, now a wasted shell of its former beauty, staggers under the weight of worsening judgements from heaven, while Carpathia turns up the heat on Christ followers and anyone else who does not swear total allegiance to him.
All pretense is gone, even on the part of the Antichrist, as the planet hurtles toward Armageddon and the ultimate showdown between good and evil.
~~
Book Eleven
Armageddon
The Cosmic Battle of the Ages
And so begins Armageddon—the Trib Force is still holding out in the San Diego safehouse, though the only truly safe place on earth for believers is Petra. New Babylon is in a strange pillar of darkness that has incapacitated its population and its power. A faint glow emits from Carpathia, but it illuminates a mere yard in front of him. Despite the dangers, the technical hijinks continue, as the Trib Force is able to monitor Carpathia's inner circle and even take control of his broadcasting network for a special broadcast to the world.
~~
Book Twelve
Glorious Appearing
The End of Days
Antichrist has assembled the armies of the world in the Valley of Megiddo for what he believes will be his ultimate triumph of the ages. With a victory here he would ascend to the throne of God.
The Tribulation Force has migrated to the Middle East, most ensconced at Petra with the Jewish Remnant, now more than a million strong. But only one of the four original members of the Force remains alive, and he is near death.
Jerusalem is falling to the Global Community's Unity Army, and Tsion ben-Judah has been slain. Few in Petra know of his loss, and both Rayford Steele and Buck Williams are unaccounted for.
It's been just over seven years since the Rapture and almost exactly seven years since Antichrist's covenant with Israel. Believers look to the heavens for the Glorious Appearing of Christ, as the world stands on the brink of the end of time.
~~
Intriguing, isn't it?

Guys (and gals),
When I first learned of the premise that the plot of this book presents, I got interested.
Plus I was feeling a bit off-center before so I kinda hoped this book would strengthen my faith.
I finally bought it when the paperback edition was published (MAHAL ng hardbound and even trade paperback).
I read it and found it to be a good way to kill time. It wasn't really "preachy" for me. It is a nice fictional story that would be enjoyable for most people.
However, I must say that upon reaching the last quarter of book I, the story seemed to have... I don't know how to say it... become incredulous? Lost its theme?
I felt like being lifted by the first 3 quarters of the book, only to be suddenly dropped by the last part. =P
Was quite disappointed with the way book I ended. So far, I have not yet regained the interest to continue what happens with the rest of the series... *sigh*
Don't expect faith-shaking profoundities or enlightenment. Take this for what it is: a fictional story that borders on fantasy by the end of book 1.

I was into the Left Behind series way back in 2000. After reading the first six books (til Assassins), I kinda got tired. I was waiting for more action and more interaction between the "good" characters and the "bad" characters but to no avail. Sayang lang kasi the first part of the first book was intriguing kaso the momentum sort of dies down in between books.

Any other fans of Tim La Haye and Jerry Jenkins' Left Behind Series?
My sis and I have been making rounds in the different book shops just to find the books. I know there are ebooks but nothing beats holding and reading a real book.
Luckily, I got the last copy of the 9th book, the Desecration in a book shop in SM. I got the 10th in Robinsons. I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the 11th?
How long does this series go anyway?

I've yet to complete my set.. because I scourge Book Sale outlets for copies instead of buying new ones. :glee:
I believe there are 16 books in the series: the original twelve, a 3-book prequel and a final ending book titled "Kingdom Come".
Milliardo
Mar 19, 2008, 03:35 AM
"Left Behind" has long become irrelevant because its pre-millennial theology didn't come true (pre-millennialists were awaiting for the Second Coming to occur by 2000; readjusted a bit to January 1, 2001 when some realized that the millennium ends on that date. Since it didn't occur, I'm not sure now what the pre-millennialist stand is; perhaps they're eagerly awaiting for 3000? :rotflmao:). As we usually say, the "Left Behind" series has long been left behind...

neth_row, 16 books? I only have 10. Where'd you find the rest?
Milliardo, although the books are based on religious/biblical writings, it is still fiction. I find it immensely enjoyable to read La Haye and Jenkins.

I have the complete set of the Left Behind Books (except the three book prequel and the final book "Kingdom Come"). I first bumped into it last year 2000, when I was at Walmart (USA) looking for a good book. When I saw the synopsis, I said to myself, "This must be a good book". To be honest with you, I enjoyed reading books one to eleven, although I was a bit (just a little bit, though) disappointed on the last book, but generally speaking, I still believe the series was a good read. When my wife read it too (we are Christians, btw), she loved reading 1-11 but was also disappointed on the ending. But that doesn't mean it didn't affect us. I had goosebumps reading them because although it is fiction, they are Bible-based so it's possible such things can happen.
I introduced this book to a Latvian friend of mine and he absolutely loved the whole series. He emailed me that he was crying towards the end of the book. I would recommend the series to those who are not sure of their faith. The main reason LaHaye and Jenkins made this series is that we have to put our faith in Christ alone, and not in a religion. It wasn't meant to scare people away but to show that Christ truly loves us.
To Milliardo, I would recommend that you read another book of LaHaye, "Are We Living In the Endtimes?". There he showed that Christ might return in our generation (and not in the year 2000, as you would claim). That means he might return tomorrow or several years from now.

webnatic, where'd you find the last two? I have yet to get copies of 11 and 12.
The prequel is currently sold at National Bookstore. Saw the first 2 there the other day but it's too pricey for my pocket right now.
I need to find 11 and 12!

uptowngirl,
I bought all of the Left Behind books (1-12) in America, because to tell you the truth, it's so hard to part with my peso when I'm here in the Philippines. Because I'm a seafarer, it's "easier" for me to part with my dollars when I'm abroad, since I still have work, unlike when I'm here on vacation, it's very hard to buy such pricey books.
You know what, since my wife and I have already finished essentially reading the entire saga, I might (just might) put them on sale. But I would rather put all the books 1-12 on sale rather than just selling a couple.
