a good friend of mine who's a non-filipino posed an interesting question when i brought up my plans for the holiday to go home for a "vacation".
he asks "you call that a vacation? where everyone knows who you are, and everyone will be watching you?"
"well yeah, coz my friends and family are there."
"exactly."

so what's your idea of a vacation? his, apparently, is giving out a fake name and getting hammered and laid and then going back to your old life without anything holding you back.
