I just read that Nike has agreed to buy Converse, and I don't know if I should be happy or sad. So I am creating this thread in tribute to my most beloved brand of all time.

Which five shoe brands have you owned most often in your lifetime?

My list:

1) Converse
2) Adidas (including Salomon)
3) Rockport
4) Florsheim
5) Greg

I have a diverse taste when it comes to footwear, I don't usually stick with 1 shoemaker, but once I find something that suits my taste, style and budget and they consistently offer good quality deals at reasonable prices, id stick with them. My five most beloved are:

1.) Hugo Boss
2.) Patrick Cox
3.) Bally
4.) Richard Tyler
5.) Mizuno

Re: Salomons are great travel/hiking shoes! I take my waterproof hiking shoes whenever I go to a trip coz they're low maintenance shoes and plus u can submerge your feet in the puddle and remain dry!

:cool: Kuya Danny...mahilig ako sa sapatos at kasi ako ang taong di mo makikitang naka-beachwalk sandals..kahit nasa bahay ako I always wear shoes no matter what time is it, or what the occasions is, except when I am taking shower or in a beach or sleeping (sometimes, i slept with my shoes on!)..shoes is always on my feet..now the brand? I own most of the brand except that one mentioned Via Spiga? who made these shoes?..but what I'd like the most is the slip on by Rockfort..and my REACTION shoes! so light and decent looking..

Pang office or casual, my favorite is my ever reliable Nautica. More than 3 years ko na siyang gamit pero maporma pa rin. I also like Florsheim dahil magaan sa paa. Lately, I'm into Bass.

Pang sports, I have Reebok. Lightweight siya but durable.

I'll echo what you posted... I still have my campers after 2 years of usage and it still looks superb. The leather they use is so soft and the designs are fabulously funkeeh...

Janylin is the BOMBS though...i LOVE Janylin

Nine West also has trendy shoes at reasonable prices and they're of good quality too.

reebok (yung kaisa isang rubber shoes ko)

usually, i just buy cheap sandals at SM, kasi madali akong magsawa sa design ng sapatos :)
