friday morning when echo assured me dat he'll be in baguio and all i need to do daw is to text him wen we get there. so i imidiately gave ATE JOY a rang to inform her kung tuloy ba kami o hndi. at syempre pa ang are joy sobrang sab i ng oo naman tuloy na tuloy. so it was 2:30 am of saturday when i and ate joy met at victory liner in pasay city and our bus going to baguio left at exactly 3:00. so syempre sobrang kwentuhan kami ni ate joy getting each other's rapport at talaga namang sobrang close kami agad. so we got in sa baguio at exactly 9:30. so we ate first at kenny rogers, naghahanap kami ng popeyes pero sarado pa kc ang sm dat tym eh. tapos we went dun sa pad ng friend ni ate joy. it was 12:30pm when we met kai at sm bagio togther wd her two cousins, greta and marc who were equally nice. so i told them that i was still waiting for echo's reply. them they suggested na tawgan ko na lang daw pero sobrang shy pa talaga ako coz it was my first time to actually call him. so i did call him but no answers grabe ang ring tone nya kaaliw ...................tunog ba naman ng palaka. well.................................then while waiting for papa echo's reply we decided to have a cup of coffee. tapos eksaktong 2:00pm when echo texted me back.

ECHO: we are doing tracking shots. are you just staying for the day?" so i replied yeah.

ECHO: so he texted me back and gave the exact location at with matching PLEASE COME NOW.

so we went there rushing. grabe we were all excited to see him. nakita namin sya agad pero kami di pa nya nakikita kc nga nasa loob sya. tapos when he went out, nakita nya na agad ako tapos he nodded sa akin tapos sobrang nilapitan na nya kami. he gave a hand shake and then i introduced to him kai, ate joy and kai's cousins. ang bait ni echo grabe as in super accomodating. super kwento pa sya.

guys kaya may part II kc echo went in nagpaalam sya sa amin that he'll be back after doin one shot and he did. grabe dat time may mga fans nsa super abang s akanya at syempre pa kami ang nilapitan ni echo, in fairness naka-separate kami sa mga fans who screamed for echo. kaya ayun sobrang nakatingin sa amin sila at ang mga staff, kc nga naman super entertain sa amin si papa echo. tapos auyn picture taking na. at mga kafatids, dami nya kwento sa amin like, he doesn't want to do a teleseyre na muna that he wants to concentrate more on movies. we also served as critics dat time dahil sobrang sinabi namin sa kanya ang mga flaws ng SWAN, and he agreed to us. guys pakiramdam namin echo feels proud sa ating mga pexers. sabi nya nga sori daw kc ala sya time to visit his thread. and he still remembers da time i texted him dat we're about to hit page 100 and now we're hitting 300th page. kwento....................................................kwento.................................... .......kwento........................................grbe daming kwento ni echo, picture taking kami. i also recorded some video clips for him. tapos shakehand uli sya sa amin at ang galing ng recall nya sa tao dahil natandaan nya agad ang names nila ate joy, kai and the two cousins, at ang tawag nya sa akin MICS, di ba feeling close na talaga kami. so paalaman na nga kc nga raw tinatawag na sya. lam nyo may guy pa na may hawak ng cellphone na ipinakausap pa kay papa echo *** asawa nya na nsa line. at ang bait talaga ni echo dahil kinausap nya. pati na rin *** mga fans na naglapitan s akanya to have some pix. pero syempre SPECIAL kami dahil echo isolated us from them.

OK then after having a chat with echo, we went to SM baguio, while riding on a taxi i texted him i thanked him and he said........................

ECHO: ok lang yun, ingat kayo and thank you din."

tapos i texted him bak asked him if we can go back to his location bcoz we forgot to give some stuff for him.

ECHO: sure! san na kayo? tapos he told me dat his on his way to SAFARI hotel. so we go there tapos i texted hi sabi ko andun na kami, bumaba sya sa lobby, tapos kwento na naman at an kulit pati *** mga stuff animals pinakialaman, we gave him a book and bonettes, sinuot nya sabi nya nga bigay ko raw yun. picture taking uli tapos video at walang kamatayang shakehands. at the end we asked him if we cud hug him and sabi nya SURE, so we did. tapos paalamanan na.


guys may story ako sa inyo tomorrow, while watching the buzz kanina echo and i were texting, grabe nakakaawa naman sya.

o sya hi na lang muna sa mga on-line.

yesterday, while watching the buzz, sobrang nainis ako kay cristy "kamuka ni april boy" fermin. kc ba naman she was very obvious in saying na mas gusto nya si diet, actually halos lahat yata sila dun maka-diet. so i texted jericho, sabi ko nga dat i feel so mad sa BUZZ, bcoz the stars were all rooting for diet, that they were unfair. i told him dat with or without love team, he can carry his career into full stardom bcoz, he's areal talent and a gud person in and out. so echo texted me back.....................................

well here's my version of the Baguio escapades:

I don't know if I could beat the excitement of Taray's posting.

But this should sum it up: Life isn't a matter of millestones, but of moments.

Meeting Jericho somehow made me believe that you can defy norms within your environment... because in the world of showbusiness it's really hard to find real people, someone who is down to earth and true to himself.

I did not have any expectations about the meeting... actually, my main purpose then was meeting Mico and Kai and to take a breather from being my daughter's yaya, while my sister is around to pitch in. So it was really an added bonus to have been able to finally meet Jericho. It was worth facing the ires of my two special loves (hehehe)

My impression of him is aside from being "tutuong tao" as they say and very accomodating. He's a good conversationalist ... he tries to get to know the people he meets and not just trying to make small talks to past the time. And he is also attentive to your responses. He loves to make kwento too. Even without being ask he tell you something about himself or the weather or the place... anything. I don't doubt that he is the life of every party. And mind you he is not acting - you can feel his sincerity.

JERICHO - (I hope you read this) ... I hope you be strong not to be influence by showbusiness' "bad traits and attitudes". Always be your sweet self.

Thanks Joy sa kwento.

Echo is really personable. Sa Hunks, siya lang at si Carlos and hindi shy. BJ, Diet and Piolo are shy and tahimik. When they were signing autographs sa SD last year, some fans commented that sayang lang ang horas nila dahil wala pala si Piolo. Echo made the effort to talk to the fans para hindi naman sayang ang pagpunta nila. That gesture gained him some fans kasi kahit hindi mo siya gusto he made the effort to make your time worthwhile.

That's why when people write stuff about him, I always think to myself, you don't know him kasi kaya kung ano ano lang ang sinasabi nila.
