i may be called an 'atheist' but i don't exactly agree with the term.

if i had my way, i'd raise my kid without any religion. but there's the wife who does her daily catech. so it depends on who spends more time with the kid. :D

I believe that my husband and I will open our child to a whole world of spirituality : religion or no religion.

If our child grows up to decide to believe or to not believe, he is on his own for as long as he is aware of this and shall be amenable for all consequences he will go through.

I know this Norwegian couple who had a baby just months ago. When I asked them if they were gonna baptize her, they told me that no. Their daughter can decide on her own which religion to choose when she comes of age.

I myself am 5 months pregnant. And when my baby arrives, I'd want her/him baptized. But when he/she gets older and decides on another faith, it would be fine by me. As long as my baby knows that being religious is not really important, being spiritual is.
