A commissioner has been appointed and most of us do not know who this guy is. Can anyone run a background check on Mr Graham Lim? I just hope that politics would not be in the way of what this league stands for and that we should expect a lot of improvements under his stewardship. Because incidents like the SBC-PCU brawl should be avoided and our all powerful management committee should see to it that we are well managed. Because this league suffers from a chronic sickness of power struggles and mismanagement.
We could also talk about everyone's expectations about this coming season.
What's up with ABS-Studio 23? Their marketing ploy with regards to the NCAA is that we are the most physical league judging by the interviews/commercial/previews with players and coaches about how hard it is to avoid accidents when playing, while observing how glam it is to be in the UAAP as seen on their preview commercials. Reminds me of that incident in the Bantay Bata NCAA/UAAP games where we see Ateneo's Rich Alvarez getting a blow from PCU's Leo Gaspi. Does that mean we're in for another blow-by-blow season of bench-clearings and riots?
Next is the issue about cheering competitions. I just hope that the NCAA committee could come up with a solution regarding this question. Cheering squads should be given the opportunity to shine and be recognized as athletes because cheerleading does not end with basketball because its an entirely different sport. How about exposure for other sports like Volleyball, Football, Tennis, Taekwondo and other sport disciplines?
Hi to all the NCAA Pexers, trolls, fanatics and lurkers! :D
