Bro! Christian Calaguio is a member of San Beda HS Batch of 1994, he studied with us only in his 3rd and 4th year of HS before moving on to Letran. Ato recruited him from Pampanga at the same time that Richard Andres (later Melencio) was recruited from Pangasinan.

Samboy Lim is a member of San Beda Grade School Batch of 1975. He transfered to Letran when he got to high school.

Actually, lumipat si Chris because the coach that time told him that he cannot be accomodated to the Team A. Chris was offered a slot in the Team B but he wanted to play for the UAAP or NCAA immediately. The guard rotation of San Beda during those times was already composed of Rensy Bajar, Ralph Rivera, Ato Morano, JV Sison, Sonny Manucat and Chris Dennis Madrid which was a very impressive backcourt line-up. So he tried his luck in several schools until Letran took him in.

I included those Red Lions who actually played or playing in the PBL. Jal and Britt, as good as they were, never played for a regular team in the PBL. In Benjie's case, he could be a team scout instead of a consultant or a trainer.
