I'm having problems installing Win98 on my HDD. My drive is made up of two partitions. Both were damaged by badsectors so I reformatted the C: partition in preparation of the install.
My problem crops up when I try to install 98 as setup Scandisks both my C and D partitions. Scanning C: holds no problems but when it hits D: it reads errors.
Is there a way to make the Win98 install skip D: in setup?

There is a way to bypass Scandisk during setup:
Use this: setup /is

i strongly suggest that you replace your harddisks... it would just cause you more problems in the long run.

I just needed to reinstall 98 so I can burn all my data to CD. Once archieving is done then I'm having my HDD replaced at PCX.

wala ka bang mahihiraman ng ibang hard drive na may OS, para i-slave mo na lang ang hdd mo. para less hassle ka pa.
