Nways, I tried out ADMU, UP, UST, Miriam, CEU and New Era. I wanted to try out Philippine Women's din tsaka MCU pro mashado na madami. Di me pumasa sa UP, pro all the rest I passed.

ateneo, la salle (back-up lang kung talagang walang may gustong tumanggap sa isang magandang lalaking katulad ko...hehe), UP, UST...

i applied in schools like lasalle,miriam,ua&p and up....and naka-pass ako lahat except UP lang talaga...
but im happy nandito ako sa ateneo....

I applied to UP, ADMU --- passed for both. Pero mas gusto ko sa ADMU dahil sa atmosphere.

me too. only took up the upcat and acet, and passed both but my parents didn't want me to go to up, kse msyado daw in-your-face. but i wanted to, kse it's the school for the little perfect rebelde like meeh.

Ateneo, UA&P & UP. I chose the ones near home. That's why DLSU and UST were out of the list. Fortunately, I got in Ateneo.

WALASTEK!!! Hirap ng ACET tsaka ng UPCAT! (Ang gagaling nyo naman mga tols.) Nag CEU nalang ako. Cheers sa ibang mga taga-CEU rito. (Kung meron, hehe!)

ei there! i applied for ADMU (1st choice), UP (coz my barkada will be there), DLSU (saftey net/last resort) and BSU (where i studied hs)... i even tried AMA (mega-tripping lang! hehe)... i PASSED all of them and obviously i took my 1st choice...hehe


In this sample group of 14 respondents, four (4) failed the UPCAT and went to the Ateneo. One also failed but went to another school.

And so I'll just summarize my findings on the next set. I excluded posts that were mere commentaries. I also skipped those who didn't take the UPCAT (bakit kaya??) Of the next 14 valid responses:

A little better this time (or just a little more cautious :lol: ) Only two (2) failed the UPCAT and went to the Ateneo. However, two (2) passed the UPCAT but went to the Ateneo because they failed to land their first choices at Diliman (one even got a scholarship at Ateneo for a tough course like chemistry --tough that is, in UP).

So far, in this very informal survey of mine, it seems Ateneo has far more UPCAT passers than flunkers. This shouldn't be surprising. On the other hand, anywhere from 20% to as much as 31% failed the UPCAT and are less than proud to have gone to the Ateneo.

I've tried UP, DLSU, and Mapua. Passed all but in UP, I got my 2nd choice of school (UP Los Banos). I chose Ateneo because of my course. Pero iisa lang ang top choice of course ko sa UP, DLSU and MIT (which is BS Civil Engineering).

UP - BS Business Economics
AdMU - AB Management Economics
UST - BS Accountancy

I took tests in UP, AdMU, MC and AC. Passed all except for UP (I didn't do my best because I never wanted to go there anyways - weird ba? Hehe). Since Ateneo's been my dream school since high school, that's what I chose.

I only applied to UP and Ateneo.
what annoys me is that I studied for UP but they didn't let me in, but when I didn't study (for ACET), I got in anyway.

I should study less... it seems to work better that way... sheesh.

Got three out of three. My two older brothers brainwashed me right from the start that Ateneo is the best school in the universe. So that's why I ended up here.

But hey, nothing's gonna get better than this: Atenista kami lahat. Coolness.

UP- traumatic upcat. nabasa ako ng ulan,
yung proctor nakatayo sa tabi ko wyl
answering kaya badtrip! nagfli-flicker
yung ilaw sa classroom
yung asa tapat kong girl tinagusan!
yung katabi ko halatang nakikipagracing
sa akin sa pagsagot
kabadong kabado ako kasi 1st test sa CETs
=di pumasa

DLSU- di ko na-take. nakalimutan kong test
time ko. akala ko hapon. umaga pala.

UST- sunugin yung questionaire!!!
dalawa yung test buklet don.
yung nareceive ko, parehong may
MALAKING BOOOOOGER sa COVER!!!!

=pumasa, nakaka-inspire yung bugy

dapat mag-lalasalle ako since mas magaling daw sila sa computer...pero nag-ateneo na din ako...ok na ako sa ateneo...

Disaster! six (6) out of eleven (11) or 54% of the above respondents failed the UPCAT and had to go to either Ateneo or some other school. This brings the total to 12 UPCAT 'dreamers' out of 38 or 31%.
