My bf is always making "reklamong" may nakalaban sila na may putok kaya nanalo sa game kc di *** makalapit...I have no idea who they are...sino kaya tong mga to? Any clues?

i heard that beda players in the 50's and 60's during their ncaa domination used the BO strategy against opposing teams. they were told by the bedan priests and coaching staff not to take a bath before and during the season-- thats 2 months before the season plus 3 months of regular season. the same was done by most if not all of the student body as a show of support to their beloved ncaa team. the result.... numerous championships.

in the 80's then President of the Philippines- ferdinand marcos realizing that the foul odor has caused displeasure and sickness (headaches, LBM, dizziness, sinusitis etc.) among his official family ordered then manila mayor bagatsing to require school officials to fumigate the entire san beda campus which was located a few meters from malacanang.

however, since the students are used to their bad smell, the school officials compromised with mayor bagatsing to use TAWAS instead. it worked a bit and hardly removed the BO among the students and athletes. through the years, that bad odor has sticked to the body of bedans. actually unknown to many, ex-president marcos left malacanang in a hurry in 1986 not because of president aquino nor pressure from the USA but because of the suffering from the bad smell that he and his official family experienced in their entire stay in malacanang. the first family requested that they be brought to hawaii immediately to experience fresh air, free from the BO of the bedistas.

it was also a kept secret that ateneo and dlsu left the NCAA for the same reason. the other schools however decided to stay because they have gotten used to playing against the bad smell of beda players. immune na raw sila. the result..... losing seasons.

I never thought that one school's hygiene problem can result in history's turning points in winning sports, pollution problems in malacanang which resulted in the topple of a president, and make other schools flee like it was the plague of the apocalypse.
