Photo Workshops

Basic Photography
Learn the basic mechanics of photography that will make your photos stand out from the rest! Lectures are designed for beginners with little or no experience. Participants will be guided through the different types of cameras & functions, getting the right exposure & metering, composition and styles. Assignments will be given for critique and group discussions.

Requirements: SLR or point-and-shoot or digital cameras.

Fee: P 3,000

Batch 1:Tuesdays & Fridays: Nov. 26, 29 & Dec. 3 & 6: 7pm to 10 pm (4 sessions)

Batch 2:Saturdays: Nov. 30 & Dec. 7: 9am to 4pm (2 sessions)

Batch 3:Mondays & Thursdays: Dec 9, 12, 16 & 19: 7pm to 10 pm (4 sessions)

Batch 4:Saturdays: Dec. 14 & 21: 9am to 4pm (2 sessions)

Batch 5:Mondays & Fridays: Dec. 23, 27, 30 & Jan. 3: 7pm to 10 pm (4 sessions)

Batch 6:Saturdays: Jan. 11 & 18: 9am to 4pm (2 sessions)



Advanced Photography
Workshop is designed for amateurs and enthusiasts who want to learn more about camera techniques and studio lighting. Participants must be already familiar with basic SLR functions. This will be a hands-on course and students will be divided into groups and expected to produce a theme for each assignment. Let your creativity come to play as you learn more about the challenges of lighting in photography!

Requirements: Manual SLR camera

Fee: P 3,500 = (Film and contact prints inclusive)

You may choose from:

a. Portraiture / studio and available light

b. Product / Food Photography

c. Nude/ Figure photography

Batch 1: Saturdays: Dec. 28 & Jan. 4: 9am to 4pm (2 sessions)


Batch 2: Mondays & Thursdays: Jan. 6, 9, 13 & 16: 7pm to 10pm (4 sessions)

Batch 3: Tuesdays & Fridays: Jan. 21, 24, 28 & Feb. 1: 7pm to 10pm (4 sessions)



Digital Photography

For photo buffs who don’t want to live with the hassles of film developing and scanning! All you need to know about digital photography from basic camera functions to composition and color management. How to choose a digital camera, accessories you need, and how to get maximum quality from your digital images. We will also guide you on how to prepare your digital images for printing, basic retouching and enhancement. This course will greatly improve your understanding of what digital photography really has to offer!

Requirements: Digital camera

Fee: P2,000

Batch 1: Tuesdays & Fridays: Jan. 7, 10, 14 & 17: 7pm to 10pm (4 sessions)


Outdoor Photography
Enjoy the great outdoors and learn how you can capture breathtaking views on film! Participants will be guided through the basics of camera and outdoor photography using a simple point-and-shoot camera or a manual SLR. Learn the art of capturing natural lighting and composition while taking pleasure on what nature has to offer.

Requirements: Point-and-shoot or digital cameras/ Manual SLR

Fee: P 3,500

2 optional outdoor shooting trips ( details and costs to be discussed later )
Contest will be held for participants who attend optional shooting trips.

Batch 1: Wednesdays & Saturdays: Jan. 22, 25, 29 & Feb 2.: (4 sessions)

basis.

Full payment should be made as early as possible to reserve slots. Please make

your cash payments at least 3 days before workshop begins.
