Laura Mercier or Shu Uemura

I'm gifting myself w/ a powder foundation and a blush for this Xmas (hehe!). I can't decide between Laura Mercier or Shu Uemura powder foundation. Both are priced almost the same so the cost isn't really a factor. As for the blush, i'm looking for a rosey shade - haven't tried both LM or SU but i've surfed both their sites - mukang ok pareho!
