Addendum...if you meet an accident and they bring you to a Trauma Center, one of the first things the ER doctors will do is to cut off your clothes to get better access. Would you want to be caught dead wearing really ugly underwear underneath your Chanel suit?

Actually, i do have something to share :) Even guys get a little creative sometimes when it comes to underoos. Just recently, i've rid my closet of my old undies in exchange for some brand name briefs and boxers. Not only because they feel comfortable, but just like what Ira said.. you never know when you're gonna end up in the ER. Imagine the doctor and half a dozen beautiful nurses tearing my clothes open to find me still wearing my G.I. JOE undies!

BTW... any of you girls find POKEMON undies sexy? ;) Just asking.

reason #1: during my highschool days, we'd just change from our pe uniform to our regular green uniform in the classroom. basically, your classmates will see your underwear so u at least have to have something decent underneath your clothes.

This "phenomenon" didn't come out till designer labels came out--and the only garters being exposed anyway ngayon are the designer labels di ba? Can you imagine showing your briefs' garters, tapos ang tatak YC Bikini Brief? I doubt it.

Ira and Dantedawg: actually the exposed underwear phemonenon started nung na-uso ang sagging pants dito sa states. Naturally, if you were to sag your pants, makikita talaga ang undies mo, gusto mo man o hindi. So, big clothing companies took full advantage of this and started making undies with their brandnames on the garter specifically for this reason. I think CK started this fad when they came out with a commercial of, then rapper Marky Mark (Mark Wahlberg) with their undies. He would do the sagging pants and exposed undies bit whenever he performed and so did a lot of other hiphop artists... and that's where it all started. How do i know so much? Kasi i was one of those "try hards" back in highschool that would do this.. hehehe..

It isn't just the kinkiness of it but there IS a REAL use for thongs. :P For example, when wearing slacks with short blouses, it's annoying to see the seams showing. It's like letting people take a peak of what you're wearing underneath. And it's hella annoying to see someone else's underwear, not as if we're interested. My block is composed mostly of guys (1 girl : 3 guys) and I've had my share of "peaking boxers" in my 5 years with them, not really an arousing sight. *SHUDDER*

Though Mark Wahlberg looks really fine. :P But of course, that was an ad.

Its a good idea to wear g-strings, especially when you're wearing a pair of tight pants or a tight skirt. It's to avoid the visible panty line.. pag kasi nakikita yung panty line parang ang baduy tignan diba? parang nakaka-turn off. So if you're wearing a g-tring its invisible.. so people are wondering if u have any undies on, parang mysterious kasi hindi nila nakikita yung panty line and that makes it sexy! :)

I tried yung thongs ng bench, not flattering pag may bilbil ka-kailangan sobrang flat tummy ka for it to be flattering. And they have to be tight too. Uncomfortable sa una pero eventually they grow on you--Frankly, i go for the tangga briefs
