cardona is a great collegiate player but i don't think he'll make it in the pba.
he's too small to play his natural position, small forward, in the pros and i don't think he'll be able to play as a shooting guard either. it's not so bad now because he's going up against guys who aren't that much bigger than he is, but do you really want to see him matching up against danny seigle, hatfield, duremdes, et al at 6-6'1"?
the same thing goes for enrico. if he doesn't lose some weight and learn to play PF fast, i don't think he'll be able to last long against the likes of menk, taulava, and harp at center.
cortez, on the other hand is a sure thing. he's big for his position and he's got the skills to match.

Something to ponder on: since Rico's shifting to the PBA cum next year... would he be able to make waves? Will he be as DOMINATING as he is in the UAAP? Would he be able to fully strut his stuff? (given that he has talent... which I know he has... somehow...)
Let me rephrase that question... with the emergence as of late of 6'6" 3 forwards and 2 guards in the league, would there be a place for a 6'5" power forward in the PBA? Would he be able to keep up with the rest of the "big guys" in the league?

Villanueva will make it in the PBA, but I think he won't be one of the top five picks in the draft. There's a lot of talent available in next year's pool, especially if we consider the MBA stars (Adducul, Ferriols) who might give it a try.
Villanueva won't be as dominating in the PBA as he is in the UAAP because he's slow and he's got only one move! Add his free-throw shooting and he'll probably be a reliever at best.
Of the UAAP players leaving this year, I believe that Cortez and Baguio have the best chances.

JOSEPH YEO - galing ng shooting nya and sobrang maaasahan. di sya natatakot mag-try.

I don't think there has ever been any doubt as to whether or not Mike will make waves in the PBA. He's the best player in the league today barnone, and any team would certainly benefit from adding him to their lineup. I think he's a cinch for the pba mythical team next season, provided that he'll be given enough playing time.
Villanueva's another story. He has to slide down to pf kasi how does he expect naman to match up with the Asi Taulavas and the Andy Seigles at 6'5 diba?
I think James Yap will also make it big in the pros since there is a shooter drought in the league right now.
the only player that i noticed who will make an impact in the pba is Mike Cortez, sure others will make it to the pba, the usuals others have mentioned, but with the skills of cortez, he will be a superstar in the pros. other UAAP players that will make it to the pros will spend most of the time watching their teams from the bench coz if u noticed, the pros is really a different type of basketball compared to the UAAP.
