Can't crack 3com Switch 3000 password - need help

We inherited a 3Com SuperStack II Switch 3000 from our predecessor. I don't
know where he is and no one in our dept knows the console password.

Is there any way to get around this ?

find the manual of that switch. from there you will know what to do to reset the switch's password. there may be a jumper or a little switch of some sort that can do that. just check the manual or ask for support from 3com website.
