Which school produces the best musicians?

anyway, to answer you constructively, only UST and UP offers degree programs in Music - UP College of Music and UST Conservatory of Music.

UST's programs are more inclined with the classical genre while UP is more diverse with more programs and course offerings. But UST Conservatory is a Center of Excellence in Music, i dunno about UP.

Both schools have produced the finest musicians in history, they also host the best chorale groups in the country and in the world -- UST Singers and UP Madrigal Singers. The main difference i think is that UST CM has a Symphony Orchestra, the only university in the country to have one.

i wouldn't say best musicians but aside from the schools that were already mentioned, i think st scho produces great musicians as well :)

i agree. st scho produces great musicians. yup yup! actually my piano teacher used to study there (am not sure baka nandoon pa siya). elo SIR GUY SIMONDAC!!!(yup he's a guy, may guys sa st scho?!)

I dont think that schools should take credit for the succcess of the bands that you mentioned. The educational institution virtually did nothing anyway to train these artists. what they had were innate talent that they honed outside school hours most of the time. it is much better to compare the individuals who were trained by such educational institutions for the purpose of making music.
