ako oo, pero dati pa. I was going to LA with a stop-over sa Dallas, pero late na dumating yung flight, so na-miss ko yung connecting flight ko to LA, eh it was the last flight of the night pa naman to LA. The next available fligt wasn't till the next morning.
Well, since kasalanan nung airline yun, they put me up in a hotel for the night and re-booked me on the morning flight.

Naranasan ko na yan! pero d naman talaga "stranded" .. pauwi na ko fr HK .. CX flight 4pm .. so everything is fine naka board na kami sa airplane as in sitting pretty na lola nyo .. then nag announce na kesyo may "slight" delay lang daw .. mga minutes lang ..

tumagal ng tumagal .. hanngang ang ending .. 9pm kami naka balik .. diff airplane na at worst malapit ako sa engine .. sakit sa ulo ..

yung 5 hrs na yon binigyan naman kami ng worth HK$80 na food at call card pang tawag sa pinas ..

May narinig ako sa Oprah na pag delayed ang flight or something you can invoke Rule 240 or 340 yta yun na parang dapat ka nilagay sa next flight kahit ibang airlines. Don't know if tha's applicable here.

in kansai airport. buti na lang northworst airline (northwest) put us in a hotel.

dati papunta sa thailand... the flight was supposed to be at 2:00+ tapos mamaya nag call ng attention sabi delayed sa 5:00 na daw ulit...mamaya ulit mga around 4 na... nag call attention nanaman. The equipments sent was wrong kaya they werent able to fix the engine kaya sa 11 nananaman daw ng gabi... we were sent to dusit hotel while the other half naman sa heritage... ok lang maganda rooms kasi suite na ang binigay samin kahit na 3 lang kami tapos buffet dinner pa. mamaya nanaman tumawag yun thai air sabi sa morning na daw ulit yun flight....pag dating ng morning after breakfast na... buffet din sabi afternoon nanaman daw. ayun hangang dun nagalit na dad ko nag pa book na kami sa ibang flight. yun iba na kasama namin naiwan...i dont know lang what time na natuloy yun flight nila. hassle no?grabe!=)

On the way back from the US, I was stranded in Japan for one day. The airline billited us in this hotel. I was even in fact able to go to their malls. However, the worst is when you will be stranded in the Centennial airport. One time I was stranded for almost 5 hours on my way back to Cebu! The flight was just kept postponed until all morning passengers were jampacked into one flight.

on our first U.S. trip...it was winter and when we got to Detroit, it was snowing. walang pinapaalis na eroplano....we had to wait for 5 hours before we could get into our flight to Newark.

second trip...Detroit ulit! sira naman ang eroplano! hayyy....

Narita...on our way back to Manila from the U.S. naiwan kami ng connecting flight. NW put us in a hotel for the night, then we took a JAL flight the following day. the kids didn't mind....but hubby and i were at each other's throats! :D

Yes I have, once and *hopefully* would be the first and the last time. Most unfortunately, I was stranded at the NAIA! I was travelling alone for Osaka, Japan on a Cathay flight but the plane was still in HK so antay for 5 hours. After that, Cathay booked us na lang for a Thai Airways flight which took another 2 hours waiting time. Biruin mo the original departure time was at 8 in the morning ... almost 4pm na to get airborne! :mad:

it was my first time to travel abroad and i was alone. there was a typhoon sa manila that time so my flight from singapore was moved to the next morning. they put us in a hotel then but two in a room. and in a very cheap hotel at that. sincel i was alone, hinanapan pa nila ako ng kasama and i shared a room with this seaman.

well, he was cute and well.......... buti na napostpone ang flight.

same thing happened to me but in chicago... we were about to leave when they announced something's wrong with the airplane's wing... they said it'll just take a while... well, it took them hours figuring out what was wrong with it and worst was they weren't able to... they then asked us to leave the plane and transfer to a different one... kala namin nandun na yung plane, hihintayin pa pala naming dumating.... nakakainis... i got home very late that night which was supposedly early in the afternoon... :(
