ganda yung panda kaso sobrang layo sa city center, nasa may new teritories na yan. ubos oras nyo travel time pa lang. hindi masyado accessible, may shuttle kaso at one hour interval yon. dapat hotel nyo located sa kowloon preferably malapit sa tsim sha tsui para very accessible.

if you are on a tight budget, ok ang panda.

for me ok lang ang location, because this is the hotel nearest to the airport. so ikaw ang unang ihahatid ng shuttle. at ikaw din ang huling susunduin for your departure. mas may time kayong mag-shopping.

Malayo nga sya sa center.
Hindi sya ideal for me since ang gawain namin pag nasa HKG, pabalik-balik kami ng hotel to "deposit" our buys. That way, we wont be burdened with all those shopping bags. Get a hotel near the malls. Madami namang mura dun e.

Ok services - ok naman sya .. i really like yung every floor may icemaker so one to sawa ang ice .. :bounce2:

Enjoy ur trip! ..

Panda Hotel is far from the shopping district, as far as
I can recall. Although I haven't been able to stay
there, we passed by it on our way to the airport.
The first time we went to HK, we stayed in one of
those guest houses with lots of Filipinas (viajeras).
You could probably ask the travel agents if they know of
some. I don't know how my mom booked us into one of those.
I guess a good hotel would have to be somewhere near the
subways.

Have fun!

Dont stay there... its not the quality is the location...

malayo ito sa shopping districts... ubos and oras mo sa travel and if i'mnot mistake n amlayo sa subway.

If you can stick to hotels in the Tsim Sht TSui areas... its a tourist area pero accesible to alot of places...as muc as possible stay near a subway stop...

suggestions are

Great Eagle... Holiday Inn Golden Mile... Marco Polo.. Prince... Hong Kong Hotel (last three medyo malayo sa subway stop)... Marriot... Conrad....

I'm not a travel agent!

It's my frst time to go to HK and i stayed at PAnda .. well for me ok lang talaga .. kc may shuttle service as in pagbaba mo sa service nasa Tsim Sha Tsui ka na "New world Hotel" and its just a walk away fr the museum, star ferry, Ocean PArk pati na rin sa shopping lane (Giordano etc) ..

Dyan ako nagstay the first time I went to HK. The hotel itself is just fine. If you're going on a shopping holiday, Panda may not be ideal. Pero if you're in HK to relax and at mag pa easy easy lang, Panda is the best place for it. Nakow!!

but shenzhen's really nice and clean! i found it strikingly similar to singapore, only with more flowers and shrubs :)
