Well, I recommend San Beda College, Mendiola, Manila.
I think meron tong connections with Metrobank and accounting firms like SGV.
Sabi nga sa website:
Program Thrust
As times call for a renewal of nationalism and an attuning to needs of global business environment, the Department of Accountancy renews its commitment to Christian education in the light of contemporary events and future needs of Filipino society and global world. Such philosophy demands a continuous assessment of its accountancy program geared towards constant responsiveness to the needs of Philippine society and its own ideals of excellence.
The primary objective of its professional accountancy education is to prepare students for careers in accountancy and related fields, and to make them ready to deal effectively with the problems they will face as professional accountants and responsible citizens.
The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy curriculum of San Beda College has been designed anew to provide students with competency to embark upon careers in professional accountancy and related fields and capacity for further growth and development in their profession. The College Accountancy curriculum has 80 units of general education subjects: 48 units of business education subjects, 81units of major/professional subjects and 14 units of non-academic subjects.To be able to strengthen the curriculum and make it more competitive and responsive to the needs of local and global business environments, the Department will institute further changes as follows:
a)
The inclusion of manufacturing firms, banks and other companies in the list of possible entities where students can have their practicum aside from the existing list of prominent audit firms such as SGV and Co., Punongbayan and Araullo and Co., and Joaquin Cunanan and Co.;
b)
The offering of Accounting Review and other intervening and integrating subjects with the objectives of preparing the students for the CPA board exams before enrolling in the CPA review course and exposing them to changes in the accountancy profession;
c)
The inclusion of more research and feasibility studies in the accounting subjects to allow students to be updated with current trends in the accountancy profession as well as to integrate all undergraduate (1st and 3rd) subjects taken.

To answer your question, UP and DLSU.

if your cousin is really good, go to Dlsu or Up. as put in the vernacular, "brutal ang mga program nila." in the 1998 batch, only 29 out of 160 bsa aspirants finished on time. in up, only 15-25% of those who enroll the b.a.a program would finish with that degree. and the retention requirements in la salle just got more stringent.
if your cousin is well, the average type, i don't know. but make sure he must be really decided to take up accounting. mahirap mag-shift. take it from someone who have seen students ruin their lives by choosing the wrong course. :)
take my word, in any school, accounting is one of the toughest, if not the toughest course. because the cpa board exam has the lowest passing rate among all the professional examinations administered by the government.
good luck sa cousin mo. ;)
