Here some individual awards which I think some players deserve after the first round:

MVP:

Mike Cortez (DLSU) - He simply led the Green Archers to the first round sweep! His on-court leadership really helped them achieve such feat!

Runner-up: Ronald Tubid (UE) - Though James Yap was their biggest offensive threat, I think Tubid is the heart and soul of UE! He always makes the plays when it counted the most! Aside from that, I think he is the most consistent among the Red Warriors!

Mythical Team:

1st team
PG - Mike Cortez (DLSU)
SG - Michael Bravo (UP)
SF - Cyrus Baguio (UST)
PF - James Yap (UE)
C - Enrico Villanueva (ADMU)

2nd team
PG - Paul Artadi (UE)
SG - Mark Cardona (DLSU)
SF - Ronald Tubid (UE)
PF - Alfie Grijaldo (NU)
C - Alwyn Espiritu (UST)

ROY:

Patrick Tiongco (AdU) - Technically he is not a rookie, but in the UAAP he is considered one and a good one at that! He gave Adamson the much needed firepower to take three games after the first round! He is such a clutch shooter!

Runner-up: Arwynd Santos (FEU) - Even though FEU just won two games I think Santos showed that he deserves to be in the UAAP!

Defensive Player:

Enrico Villanueva (ADMU) - His league leading 2.3 bpg says it all! Plus the fact that the intimidation he brings inside the paint!

Runner-up: Paul Artadi (UE) - Though he may not lead the league in steals, his 2.4 spg gives UE the run-and-gun pace that they like to do.

Most Improved Player:

Gec Chia (ADMU) - Coach Joel Banal just pulled out a revelation in Chia. He gave Chia the minutes and he didn't fail the rookie coach! Chia just gives Ateneo a slightly better bench with the absence of Magnum and Paolo! Plus his intensity can hopefully rub off to his teammates!

Runner-up: Joseph Yeo (DLSU) - The next Ren-Ren Ritualo? Maybe. But Yeo is just making a name for himself! Yeo has proven that he is a clutch player and is giving the Green Archer fans something to look forward to in the next 2- 3 years!

Best Coach:

Boysie Zamar (UE) - After suffering their first two games, Zamar was able to get his team back on track and finished the first round with a five-game winning streak!

Runner-up: Luigi Trillo (AdU) - Give the guy a break! after a 35-game losing streak, he has managed to steer the Falcons to three wins after the first round and is only one game behind the third and fourth placers, UST and Ateneo. Now they even have the chance to sneak through the Final Four!

6th man:

Willy Wilson (DLSU) - Who else would you expect? The Green Archers' team captain always plays to contribute in any way he can! A coach couldn't ask for anything more!

Runner-up: Christian Luanzon (UST) - Like Wilson, Luanzon adds versatility to the UST line-up. Coach Aric just loves the guy as he can use Luanzon in any of the five positions! He also gives UST the intensity and all-around contribution that a coach would want from any bench player.
