No, I don't think it's necessary, pero kung gusto nila, okay lang. IMO, it adds a whole lot of appeal.

I guess it depends where you are going. Cocktail receptions, dinners, or after-hours business meetings are appropriate occasions to wear a tie. If you are going home, then maybe not.

i dont take mine off until i get to the gym or when i get home. i loosen it up sometimes.
