jensie_g: nope i haven't gone to 6750 to check....
talaga? around 20k? for something even smaller than a wallet?
i'm looking for the small credit card holder (around 3x5 siguro yung dimensions). saw a guy kasi sa mall who had the monogram credit card holder....
basta small lang sya... even smaller than the billfold wallet

Hi bishop!
One of my friends, who happens to be a loyal LV 6750 customer, told me na the last time she went there (last year), around 9T daw yung Monogram billfold. 9T+ naman daw yung card holder.
The smaller items are really expensive.

I dont get it. For a country na halos naghihirap ang lahat there are people who are thinking of spending too much money on LV? Gosh! for just a simple wallet it will survive one life over there in the Philippines. Why there are people who just want to be called they have signature brand? I know a lot of people in PI that used LV but, never had their own house, tons of credit card bills but, LV is the wallet. They have LV wallet but no money inside why? because the price of the wallet is more than the money inside it. Think of what is ahead of us not just by being "in". Save for rainy days instead of thinking what people may say to you. People in the Philippines GROW UP!

Maybe because it's easier to feign wealth when you know you will never truly achieve it yourself?

You know GDFIL, I truly agree with you!
What's the point of having an expensive calling card holder? In my case, I either put some cards in my wallet or I have this cheapo plastic card holder I got from the bookstore. It serves the purpose anyway.
It's so stupid and truly pathetic of Bishop. Pity.

As for me, I don't even use a wallet or any cardholder/purse! hehe feeling ko istorbo sa akin...I put my paper bills and cards inside my bag and take note, naka-clip silang lahat para di makalat hehe
ey let's not bash the thread starter naman, he/she maybe looking for an expensive cardholder, but doesn't mean he/she actually is type-casted to the ones you mentioned on ur posts as such having "expensive wallets - no money inside" di ba?

stupid and pathetic? hmm talk about immature man. i guess i just buy whatever i want. too bad i have so much money that i can splurge. i can't say the same for you.
i don't mean to be arrogant or anything, but i'm just answering your question (what's the point of having ... holder?).
the point is ... i can afford it.

yeah sure...you can afford it...so can i...but i'm just being practical. you are acting like a noveau rich being...
you may afford all those branded things yet still look downright cheapo!
some people, like me, don't need any branded thing/s on to look rich or feel rich...as long as i've money in my wallet and bank and a good watch on my wrist, i'm OK.
money does not and cannot buy class.

LV went on sale????
Are you sure? I read somewhere that Louis Vuitton is one of the brands that never go on sale.

i do not intend to buy class nor do i spend money to be high on the social ladder.
i spend because i like the things i buy. i don't intend to impress people. i hope you understand that not everyone who spends lavishly, want to get noticed. it's a hasty, sweeping generalization.

I had friends who worked in LV Sydney and they did mention that they never put their items on Sale. But my friend from Taiwan was able to purchase orig LV wallets in HK at reduced prices.
