if you are in an academic critical condtion, on the verge of failing, but your teacher gives you a chance to salvage your grade by going to bed with him/her, what will you do?

well, if i like the teacher, the why not? it's hitting two birds with a stone.

if not, i'll have to think about it. . .

No way. Kahit gaano pa siya ka-guwapo, I'd instantly lose respect for him once he offers that. Sleazeball! Di bale nang kuwatro, pwede pa namang i-remove 'yun, di ba?

i remember the Pahayagang Plaridel featuring an article o this before during my undergrad days. it was a pretty big issue then because of the rising number of grievance cases (particularly sexual harrassment cases) at that time versus faculty members.

i remember seeing a classmate of mine during my sophomore year being harrassed by our professor (i won't mention the class i took at that time... he may still be teaching in dlsu). the girl wasn't in our block; think she was an athlete. while we were taking a test or a seatwork, she was seated right beside our prof. apparently she was asking questions about the seatwork/test. all of a sudden, i was nudged by my seatmate... and we saw our prof's hand gently gliding up into the girl's shorts.

as a teacher, i find it repulsive to think that individuals in the vocation of education can even think of molesting their students in exchange for good grades. it's a deplorable reality.

A cousin of mine who used to study in the ateneo said she was pissed off by one teacher. He wasn't doing a cuatro o cuarto on her. He was a maniac, plain and simple.

i'd have to agree. u wanna do it anyway, so getting a 4 for it wouldn't hurt. :naughty:

i wouldn't even think about it if i just wanted to pass or get a 4 though. and especially not if the teacher sucks (no pun intended :munch: ). i'm not a prostitute. i'd rather flunk out of college than live the rest of my life remembering having done sumthin like that.

it's just plain disgusting. :vomit:

If you're going to do it at all, then why settle for a kuwatro when he can very well give you a tres, or a dos... or even an uno if you could &%$! his brains out. :D

my mistake.

i said 4 coz that's the highest in our grading system. i meant a 4 or a 1 or an A. whichever applies as the highest to u.

you don't understand the choices available. they are exclusive, meaning, you can choose only one at a time. choosing one choice bars you from choosing the other, and prevents you from reaping consequences or rewards attached to that.

there are only two choices: (1) kwatro and (2) kwarto. if you choose (1), you fail but you don't have to go to bed with your teacher. on the other hand, if you choose (2), you have to go to bed with your teacher, but failure is impossible and you can even get an uno.

in your post, you are implying that there still exists possibility of getting a kwatro even he/she goes to bed with the teacher. this is a contradiction of the exclusivity of the choices.

therefore, you have to revise it to convey your intended message.

I actually understand the choices available, that was why I first answered this:

Then my reply to seeweed was such because I was confused with her post. Kasi po pala magkaiba ang grading system ng school nila sa school namin. Gets?

please read your post again, it's kinda ambiguous. i know that you are trying to say that you replied muna to seeweed's statement (look at the rest of your post). but, it sounds like you are claiming his/her post.

Oh yeah? It's kinda like that, huh? Well, that's not my problem anymore.

I said in my 1st post NO, I wouldn't sleep with the prof to get a passing grade even if he was my type. Now what's so ambiguous with that? Didn't I answer your friggin question?
i know that you are trying to say that you replied muna to seeweed's statement (look at the rest of your post). but, it sounds like you are claiming his/her post.
I'm claiming what?! :eh: What's the matter with you, anyway?

he/she has pointed it out.
I know. Kaya nga I said: "Kasi po pala magkaiba ang grading system ng school nila sa school namin."

of course, it's not your problem, unless you don't want to get understood.

I said in my 1st post [i]NO, I wouldn't sleep with the prof to get a passing grade even if he was my type.

congratulations. . . this is a clear statement.

I'm claiming what?

read that post again.

And congratulations to you, too. You're finally taking it for what it is, and not reading too much between the lines. Oh, wait. Did you get new glasses?

i guess that title, "kwatro or kwarto" should not cause any confusion. regardless, of the grading system, anyone can still answer the question of eigenvector in his/her firs post:

if you are in an academic critical condtion, on the verge of failing, but your teacher gives you a chance to salvage your grade by going to bed with him/her, what will you do?

rokker and wounded,

that is the way how the question should be answered: straignt-forward without beating around the bush.

The answer is so predictable.....allow me to add some spice.....

....Your'e vying to graduate with honors but for reasons not dependent of your will, you are in the verge of flunking, thus losing your standing as an honor graduate.....would you go to bed with your teacher/professor. Why or why not?

the question is even tougher. it's not only about flunking or passing, but graduating or staying behind.
