I'm just curious. Do you guys know Bene?
St Benedict College Alabang.
If you do, what are the impressions you have on Bene?
If you don't... hehehe... :D

I graduated high school batch 2002 from San Beda College.
Bene, being a Benedictine school like Beda, is also quite good (I suppose).
It's just that marami lang siguro ang maarte sa kanila coz conio ang location nila (Alabang).
Yun lang naman ang school na pinagmamalaki ni Fr. Gerard kahit hindi namin ma-figure out kung bakit.
What else? Hmmmm... ewan ko kung bakit Bedans din ang tawag sa mga students dun. Hindi naman yun San Beda.

I have friends form Bene. My brother is also studying there. Mabait at friendly naman sila kaya lang nagkataon na *** mga kilala ko talaga, mayayabang. I don't know pero i find people from bene different. My brother used to study sa ibang school. But since he transferred to bene, *** mga kaibigan niya, hindi okay. Opinion lang po...

Pinagmamalaki ni Fr. Gerard ang Bene? Then I suggest bumalik nalang siya dun. Beda could surpass Bene in terms of accomplishments easy. Sabi nga saking ni hrdcourt, na culture shock ata sila Fr. Paul de Vera nung nalipat siya dun. Everytime nakikita niya si Fr. Paul nakasimangot, tama ba hrdcourt?

Oo kaya! Palibhasa siya naging director ng physical whatsoever dun. Kaya nga ang daming teacher sa high school ang galit sa kanya e. Pano ba naman, gustong pakialaman yung itsura ng hs faculty room at igaya sa bene. syempre hindi pumayag yung mga teacher *** wala siyang nagawa. Siya din yung may gusto na mag-toga ang hs nung graduation (****! naaalala ko pa yun! Ang init!). Isa rin siya sa mga may gustong mag-coed ang beda... parang bene!

astig yun! i have a friend who comes from that school. si albert at si addy. si albert astig. walang pakialam sa buhay pero cool sya. si addy naman parang sobrang grade-concious. ibang iba sila!

si father gerard... lol... funny. pinagmamalaki rin nya ang san beda sa bene. baka naman talagang proud talaga sya sa lahat ng schools na may benedictine order. ;)

about the people in bene being maangas and maarte... true that. a lot of people are like that in bene, pero not all. there is a considerable part of our population naman na down to earth and mababait.

lahat naman ng schools may bad breed rin eh. :D

I just graduated HS 2002 from Bene and its pretty funny how you guys like make an issue about Fr. Gerard... incidentally, I was there when he visited the school for that comedy-show debate competition and it's true that he feels proud of his boys...not surprising since it's all about testosterone, of course, he's going to stick up for his boys!
But seriously, what OSB father wouldn't be proud to stick up for his own "territory?" The current HS Principal, Father Mayeul feels proud of Bene, too, siyempre, siya principal, eh.

Another thing, Bene and St. Scho and Beda are all different. That's a no-brainer. No point in comparing. The only thing we share about is that stuff about having St. Benedict as our patron as well as all those Benedictine values and prayers. Otherwise, our inside "cultures" as I'd like to term it are different. So, how come it's an issue? (Although i was pissed during that debate thing...well past is past no need to dwell on it!) Heck, we don't even have interactions among the 3 OSB schools. Oh, and it is the dictates of the school that calls Bene people Bedans, so wala kayong magagawa. And it is so not true that we're apathetic because we're located in Alabang...hello, do you know that that's a fallacy? What's the connection? And besides, not everyone in the campus comes from a rich family.

I agree with sofia_02 when she said that all schools have bad breeds. Yes, I must admit that there are people who're maarte and mayabang from Bene, but they're like a fourth of the population! People there are really nice, maybe people who are prejudiced against Bene saying we're conyo and stuff, has just met those fourth of the population...i suggest you meet other Bene-people out there before saying anything about our ugali.

I'd just like to add, there are popular people who actually have brains and a great personality in Bene, you know.

Okay, i'll end here, it looks like a novel. I just couldn't help myself and defend my former alumni from those b******s who degrade it. I miss HS so much that i wish time would reverse itself! I'm not attacking Beda and St. Scho by saying all these stuff, so don't make an issue out of this.
