"...you should be proud because you're in a prestigious school, even if you won't earn your degree on time."

for those who are irregulars in U.P., Ateneo, La Salle and U.S.T., ganon ba dapat ang mentality ng isang student? Honestly, I BELIEVE IN WHAT THE STUDENT SAYS. Once you're in a good school, parang Passport mo na siya di ba sa isang magandang company.

Uhm, comments? IRREGULAR here

di totoo yan. kahit graduate ka sa isang prestigious university, tinitignan pa rin ng mga companies yung performance mo as an undergrad. siyempre you have to pass your TOR, kaya makikita nila kung maganda ang academic record mo. mas mahirap if your planning to pursue further studies like Medicine, Law or Graduate Studies. pag pangit grades mo, mas maliit ang chance mong makapasok sa magagandang universities.

well, at least even if yer irreg and yer from these schools it kinda softens the blow. There are cases that some people would even deem it better that a student is an irreg from a prestigious univ compared to a regular student from some school we haven't even heard about.

I believe that all students (irreg students in particular) should think that way. One way of being optimistic, I guess. Although Irreg students from prestigious cools really have a lighter blow as compared to students from less prestigious universities. There's a notion in the business world that average students in the so-called elite schools are in above average standing when compared to students from other schools.

life is too wierd to give a rats *** what u did in college

ask erap. people might say yeah, people keep bringing up his bad past, but hell, he sure accomplised alot for such a person.

you have to give him credit for that.

what am i saying? its not all about college (though it is understood that college MUST be finished), alota times its just about being there at the right time and place.

many of the rich got their share of the good life through chance of this and that, ayalas and ortigas did not get all their land by studying hard.

but thats where education comes in, you must be prepared for anything, thats the most important part of education.

whenever i screw up in school, i make it a point that i atleast learn the basic concepts or learn the thing before i move on and i know thatll make all the difference than those people who just memorize than forget after.

like that saying goes, "luck favours the prepared"

do what you please, just make sure you learn what you need to know is important
