What's the normal CPU temperature?
My BIOS(not sure if correct) always shows 51 celsius CPU temp....
And will shutdown when it reaches 60.
Got a standard CPU fan and a cooler attached on my processor(athlon 1800). Do i need 2 buy better cooling device/fan?
Any recommendation?

Socket-A CPUs run real hot especially those TBirds... AthlonXPs run a bit cooler though.
When I still had my AthlonTBird 1.13Ghz on my 8KHA+, CPU temps went as high as 56 degrees celius at max... But on low loads, it can go as low as 38 degrees celcius. I am using GlobalWin SAK38 HSF and a utility called VCool.
But when I migrated to a AthlonXP 1600+ (1.4Ghz), CPU temps lowered a bit. Going as high as 53 degrees celcius max and around the same 38 degrees celcius at low demands.
Anyway, regarding your temp problem, what I can recommend is for you to:
1.) Use a CPU cooling software for Socket-A CPUs. I recommend you use VCool.
2.) Replace your standard HSF (CPU fan) with at least a GlobalWin SAK38.
and
3.) You MUST install at least 1 exhaust fan on the backside of your casing.

I have a Athlon XP 1.8 Palomino core
MSI KT3
GeForce2 64
256 PC266 Apacer
my pc runs @ 1.63 = 2000 mhz @ FSB 141, Vol core 1.75, and Video Vol 2.6v
usual temp @ 51-54 w/o Aircon
@ 42-45 w/ aircon
I also use CPUidle to decrease CPU heat
