If you could live in any subdivision, cost no object, where would it be and why?

I would live in a subdivision inhabited by middle-class people coz if i live in a subdivision where the richest people live, id be hounded by kidnappers!if i live in the slums, surely, i wont enjoy any privacy... :)
I'm pretty happy with our subdivision. Security is GREAT so we never worry about people who might be able to get in our place, and they're very responsive to complaints about services, noise, etc.
Our neighbors are pretty cool, too--we'd have gettogethers several times a year, especially during Christmas season. During regular nighttimes there's a jogging group that walks around the area (my mom's one of them), and they basically walk, gossip and occassionally have eating gimmicks. There are aerobics classes at the multipurpose gym, and the sports facilities--basketball,volleyball, swimming, and tennis--are here too. Plus the roads are as wide as Ayala Alabang's and the lot division and building code's really strict, so you don't feel hemmed in.

Bonita: Yup, Phase I...been living here for nearly 10 years (when I first moved in there was hardly any houses!), and I've always felt glad that we decided to put down our roots here. No regrets talaga.

best subdivision for me would have to be ayala alabang. i just love making ronda around that village. i mean with all the trees and pretty houses...and really W I D E roads! grabe, 4th gear sa loob ng village?! badtrip nga lang cos they implemented this speed limit thingy. as if naman may lumalabas sa village na yon at tumatawid?! oh well, it's still a great village for me. :)

Bonita: Yeah, I know the Suguecos also, they live in del Pilar Street I think. I used to see them during Sunday mass (when I still went to mass, that is), but I am not so close to them naman that I go to their parties. :)

Yeah, sina Rainier...hehehe. I remember I used to ruffle Rainier's hair when he was in grade school. He was up to my chin in height then. Alas... siya na ang mas may karapatan ngayon to do that, LOL.

Dasmarinas Village. Because with many social and environmental disasters coming soon, it would be safer and more comfortable with the diplomatic community around.

Ayala Alabang is a great village, sobrang safe :) tipong you can actually leave for the weekend w/ the door unlocked & come back w/ all the stuff in your house intact  plus, Alabang Town Center is a stone's throw away! ;)

Gotta agree with that one. The other village across the street had so many high profile heinous crimes that the sight of AAV's tight security is very welcome indeed.

Well, not always... AAV is a super high-profile village kahit anong angulo pa natin tignan... so it follows high-profile din ang mga magnanakaw-- not the typical thieves you see caught in depressed areas or so-so subdivisions... I've heard of at least 5 cases na of theft inside na village...
Iba pa rin ang mag-ingat. :)
And yeah, AAV's proximity to ATC and Festival Mall is a plus... :)

BoNiTa,
Talayan ka ba o Damar? :)
Ok talaga sa Ayala Heights. Ang mga friends ng Kumander ko tiga-Rizal street.
It's a very cozy place to live in.

i'm happy with our village. my HS alma matter is there, we're just beside the makati commercial center, and security is tight (lamost too tight). yun nga lang, we have to scoop up our own dog's poop when we take them for a walk otherwise we're penalized (monetary). but it's ok. at least i won't step on those landmines anymore on my way to the park
but best of all is location. it has several gates going to the north (makati) and south. very accessible and iwas traffic. what's best is that our village sticker is accepted in 3 other villages so it's really great for making iwas the traffic.
and oh, our streets are almost covered with trees so it's not that hot if you walk to makati, and even the road mismo is shaded by the trees.

Maria Luisa Subdivision in Cebu - It's on the hillside overlooking the city of Cebu. If you buy the right lot, you'll have 270 degrees of unobstructed oceanviews including the islands in the horizon. Lots have big front yards, wide sidewalks, curb and gutter, treelined street, well maintained asphalt roadway and 24/7 security guard.
