PLS GIVE ME ADVICE!!! I'M DESPER8!!! SHOULD I BUY A STOCK IN THE STOCK MARKET?

All I am aware of the stock market is that the only thing that's for sure is its fluctuations - bringing either gain or loss. Is there a minimum purchase required? I'm a newcomer to this one. Where should I get corporate help? I'm desperate for money, that's why. I need to increase my savings. If it's not advisable for me to buy a stock, what are my other options besides traditional saving? PLLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEEE!!! MAAWA NA KAYO!!! :D

wickedqueen: hmm....this is what i can tell u....if u plan to put money into the stockmarket, make sure you don't need this money, coz u might lose it. that sounds very discouraging but the stockmarket really isnt the stable way to get money, or an easy way to get a quick buck. so i guess the stockmarket does not fit your objectives at this time. there are a lot of potentials for making money through stocks, but you should be disciplined, patient, and with the way our politics and economy is going right now, you should be willing to wait. sayang coz if u are willing to hold long term, stock prices are really low right now. yun lang nga, it's a waiting game.
