Do you think bath and body works will click in manila? I think ang kalaban lang naman eh the body shop and i forgot the name of that store (crab..something). whatchathink?

Yeah, I think so. They should just make sure they choose the right mall. I think they will be fine in Galleria, Megamall and Shangri La. I'm not very familiar with the malls in the south so I wont include that na lang muna.

I can see one problem though - how will they compete with the individual stores selling Bath and Body Works products?

lets say you own a store in greenhills and you are selling cheap bath and body works products. Bath and body in galleria is selling a little bit more expensive than in greenhills. question: how many products are you selling? meron ka ba lahat ng products ng bath and body? knowing filipinos (lalo ng mga chickas), madaming gusto di ba? hindi lang lotion, pero kung ano ano.so mas pupunta na sila sa store mismo kasi daming pwedeng bilin hindi lang lotions. in short, mas madaming selections sa bath and body na hindi mo makikita sa greenhills. may point ba?

i think bath and body would be a nice idea....
body shop naman super patok...mabenta sa mga bagets as well as matatanda.....
crabtree and evelyn naman..mabenta sya sa mga matatanda and yuppies...
basta sure ko patok ang bath and body..tapos pag magbubukas ka..be sure to open a store sa shangrila ha! i'll be a very loyal customer!!!!

I'd go to a Bath and Body shop anytime. I love sweet-smelling stuff -- lotion, powder, shampoo, etc. Currently, I'm on the look-out for a lavender scent bubble bath -- went to Crabtree, Body Shop, M&S, etc. but can't find one. Let me know if anyone knows where I can get one!

I'd guess you can market to AB segment and offer other stuff like towels, bathroom decors and accessories also. Great as gifts too. Be sure to put one in Ayala Center -- my favorite mall!
