I thought the latest epi was a reasonable episode, but probably among the weaker ones in the season. We do need the odd one like this to shift plotlines, looks like the Sangala stuff will largely be behind us now. It's been mentioned upthread that this season seems to be modelled on S5 and I have to agree, so I expect we'll get a few episodes of Hodges with presumably a return to some Tony-centic material up until the finale.

Now, we will see more of Olivia. Better her than his father. I don't know why but i find his character boring. He was used in the story to link jack to Dubaku.

As for Bill, I still think Bill's exit from 24 shouldn't be in the form of death. Why do the writers love killing characters?

And doesn't anyone find it strange that President Taylor didn't look for Bill considering he put him in charge of her security?

It showed us that NOBODY can kill jack (yet) !!! :)

And that jack is an expert in driving cars without the need for car keys :D

They did it again in Season 5 with Gram and his group as the conspiracy ended with Logan and we never knew who gram and this group was (until season 6)

For this season, will the org chart going up end with John Voight?

Or will another nameless character appear who is either an oil tycoon or a patriot who thinks "collateral damage" is ok for the good of the country.

Max hooked up with Peter Madsen, another Jack's enemy in the past, in launching another attack in LA, 6 months after Day 2. In fact, they planned three attacks that happened on that day. One, is the assassination plot on Acting President Jim Prescott (acting because President David Palmer was recovering from that chemical attack on him at the end of day 2). Two, the attack on CTU LA office to steal a hard disk containing data that will lead to their planning of their main objective for that day which is to create a major earthquake in LA by planting explosives in fault lines, so that they could attacked a military base and began stealing nuclear weapons and shipped these out of the country to Middle East. Peter Madsen was killed by Jack while escaping on a speedboat and Max was also killed but not after shooting Jack at the stomach. as usual, Kim Brauer was kidnapped again by Peter and Max along with Kate Warner.

My cousin brought this game and we played it at PS2. RPG talaga. Mapapaisip ka ng husto sa larong ito.

Edgar'd death was the most heartfelt and most memorable for me, Edgar was a newbie then and Chloe was ugh,,,.. the usual her, poker face and everything. Let me give you some of the highlights:
- After Renee saw all the scars and everything, she kinda understand Jack now where is he coming from.
- Jack was persistent to go after the hideout but then realized the bigger treat if he'll jeopardize the covert operation.
- The "bond" that has formed between Jack and Tony is there, its a "sub" of the story but details like this is very important. I mean this show is not just killing the bad guys.
- And when I thought that the show is starting to get predictable, like "okay, greg will turned himself in, ask for immunity blah blah, it turned out to be a diversion, and i was like, whoa he almost got me! damn you greg!"
- And with the last minutes of the episode that's really heart-pounding, let us see how will Agent Moss will fair.

I'm fearing that Livy will eventually drag Aaron to something really bad.

And the immunity that he got is void (for all intents and purposes). I'm sure it stipulated that he'll only be granted full immunity if he led the FBI to the weapon - which he didn't. He probably knew that he'll be retrieved back by the Starkwood militia in a standoff.

This is great timing. With all the character buildup on Tony in the past 17 episodes leading to this twist.

I actually thought Tony was bad within the first 12 hours. I figured what a twist it would be if he was on the other line that General Juma was talking to (instead of hodges). But his actions until this huge twist fooled me to think otherwise.

Is Tony really part of this "grand conspiracy" that leads us to episode 24? Or this is just an improvised operation since he has contacts in starkwood's mercenaries and he saw an opportunity to grab a canister? Or he still is a good guy left with no choice to keep a cover so he can get to whoever is the "Real bad guy/s"?

In retrospect, it’s shocking to me that the show didn’t change locations after the second or third seasons. And now Entertainment Weekly is reporting that season 8 (or is it “Day 8″) of 24 will take place in New York City.

Of course, much like this season’s DC-based episodes, most of the production will take place in Los Angeles, with a second unit shooting some scenes and location footage in Manhattan. Also, CTU will return under the direction of a yet-to-be-cast character named Brian Hastings, who is described as “an MBA type with a razor sharp intellect”. Also joining the cast will be two new twentysomething agents (one male, one female), as well as Mary Lynn Rajskub’s returning Chloe.

This year’s DC-set plot allowed them to do a invasion of the White House, and now that the series is being relocated to New York City, I’m sure we’ll see at least one tentpole action sequence set up at one of the many famous landmarks in the city.

"I had no idea it would happen," Nordling says of Moss's death. "We were shooting out at Camarillo Airport [in LA] and [series creator] Howard Gordon called me and prefaced the conversation by saying, 'These calls are always hard to make.'

"I said, 'You've got to be kidding me' and he said, 'Yep.'

As viewers learned last night, it seems that Tony has been working with the rogue company Starkwood -- instead of being an undercover operative working with Jack Bauer to save the country from Starkwood's planned bio terrorism attack.

In the pivotal scene, Tony puts his hand over Moss's mouth with a curt, "I'm sorry, Larry."

Moss's demise is the second big death to rock the "24" universe this season, following on the heels of former CTU chief (and fan favorite) Bill Buchanan (James Morrison).

And while Nordling had no idea Moss would meet his maker, he was given free reign, he says, to shape the character to his own specifications until the bitter end.

"They don't know what they want you to do -- they don't know where the story is going," Nordling says of the show's writers.

"They take care of the general story arcs and the technical aspects, and really leave the character up to the actor.

"It probably wasn't until about a month into shooting that I started to figure Moss out."

Nordling says he didn't need any coaching to play Moss's death scene.

"It was just instinct. OK, I'm being smothered to death. Go for it," he says. "I did add some extra stuff [in post-production], because Moss had three armor-piercing rounds in his side and was probably drowning [in his own blood], as well."

And, he says, he doesn't know what course "24" will take, now that Moss is out of the picture.

"I was going to have them send me the scripts but then I thought, 'I'll watch with everybody else.'

"But now at least we know who the bad guy is."

You can tell from the last sentence that Tony Almeida's staying as a villain until the end. I don't feel that there's a lot of episodes to turn around Tony's character back to the good side.

And Graem and Phillip worked with Logan dahil binenta nila yung Sentox and they're just covering up, tama ba?

But jack is dying right now. I can't wait to find out what happens to him on the 24th hour of this season. My guess is it will be the "most bitin" season ender of 24.

There are rumors that S8 will be right after the 24th hour of S7. Or a few days after Day7. And S8 will be the last. So Jack may do end up dead in S8 or in the planned 24 movie.
